Got to agree. I am Modis ardent critic. And it’s a shame he got overwhelming support in the election. Probably 75 pct of Hindus voted for him.
BCCI has been shameful.
Also Indian TV hosts such as Goswamy disrespect Pakistani guests. Don’t allow them to talk.
Beyond that, I don’t know the politics of which nation causes more trouble to the other. The whole thing is too depressing for me to keep track.

Re: Indian Sympathizers and Pakistani Patriots
Seems to be a hot topic these days so let’s help our membership understand what makes a person pro-India and anti-Pakistan and what makes someone anti-India and therefore pro-Pakistan.
Let me start the list of defining opinions/behaviours/characteristics:
Pro-India/Anti-Pakistan people:
are “worshipping indians due to bollywood”
deserve what they get: “Why are our singers and people going to India? And if you are there and get mistreated you deserved it.”
are all armchair politicians that don’t know what on-the-ground reality truly is
Pro-Pakistan/Anti-India people:
firmly believe that “danger” should be taught: “we need to teach kids immediate danger, till the danger is over.”
anyone that is pro-Pakistan should never acknowledge any good that India has accomplished or they risk losing their membership to this club.
believe that some people “can’t let go of love-india syndrome, they use their “relatives in india” as an excuse”
Is any of the above accurate?
What do you want to change, add or remove?
Somewhere in the middle is sanity.

This is that historic moment. Some thing like when some one first thought… “Can’t almonds be in chocolate.?”

Re: Indian Sympathizers and Pakistani Patriots
I’ll tell you my friend, it’s India.
You might think I’m being biased - I’m not. Pakistan isn’t an angel either and never has been but the level of intrusion by India right now is arguably higher than it’s ever been. Involvement in Karachi, Balochistan, the media (Geo), isolation in sports (cricket, hockey, Kabaddi even).
Imagine if things were the opposite; India was being held back but were still on their knees begging Pakistan - to work in their films (where the roles they get are akin to softcore porn pretty much), to play cricket despite the fact Pakistan had made it clear they want nothing to do with India. On top of all this, imagine Pakistan had funded terrorism in India and continued to do so, which had resulted in the deaths of AT LEAST 60,000 civilians. Would you not want your fellow countrymen to stand up and defend their country? To point out Pakistan’s wrongs when Pakistan was in the wrong?
This is what this whole discussion is about. I’m just sick and tired of Pakistanis not calling a spade a spade. We have a whole host of problems which have nothing to do with any other country but India’s involvement cannot be denied and both sets of problems are linked.
I don’t hate anyone. Like I said before I’m friends with many Indians (and with Israelis). You take each person on their own merit. So being labelled as “blindly hating India, blaming everything on India, being fascist”, when that is not the point at all, when all I’m doing is defending Pakistan, is frankly disgusting.
Hope you get what I’m trying to say here.
I hear you. On the details re 60000 deaths or Balochistan, I have to offer no comments. I try my best not to get too involved - maybe because the news is quite depressing.
I respect the foot soldiers on both sides if the border. And believe they are the biggest victims in this never ending and ever increasing problems and incidents.
Quite frankly the Generals themselves don’t treat the foot soldiers very well. There is the class system where soldiers do grunt work.
While I don’t know details of pay scale, I highly doubt the foot soldier makes more than a barely getting by salary. While the officer class wines and dines and lives lavishly.
But I digress.

That is the most sickening recipe I ever heard.
But once I ate sweet samosa… it had almond and other good stuff.
