Under normal circumstances with a competitive bowling attack, Srilanka can be considered favourite but Vass and Zoyasa are missing from the bowling line up. On the other hand india are only missing good for nothing ganguly and tendi who also has not performed well lately. So I guess it will be an evenly matched competition and india has a chance of winning.

Why arent these teams using super-sub and power play rules? I thought these changes were due in effect from 30th July?

The new rules were initially supposed to be applied from "Aus vs World" and after then. (I guess from news, as of my memory). England and Australia agreed mutually to use them. In this series SL will have more advantage as most of their super stars are available. India and WI are missing some.
