I am guessing all those fanatically on the side of Pakistan and defending every allegation, have never been minorities themselves in another country. It's easy to be the majority in a country and see things as black and white. You feel it when you are the minority.
haha.. carry on.
i can see that you will continue to make the case that an average person would be happier if he lost his legs and his wife as compared to having to read about Prophet Muhammad.
and our State mechanism is merely limited to blasphemy laws when it comes to discrimination that could actually impact people's influence or strength. most of karachi's business is owned by agha khanis who would be a minority by your criterion. parsis remain incredibly influential in pakistan's biggest city. the minority population hasnt grown much because the Muslim population has grown. the same phenomenon that you see in india.
in both places its the same group thats growning disproportionately, but in India thats a major achievement, in pakistan thats supposed to somehow work against us.
gimme a break.

pogroms are sad , govt programs are sadder? jez. i never knew anyone finding his lung detached because of reading about hazrat harun.
religions dont thrive based on curriculum. ahmedis, parsis, agha khanis are all very cogent communities inspite of being miniscule and not being represented in the curriculum.
they would disappear if we started a tradition of hacking minorities to bits every so often like you do. and this is truly gruesome stuff. murder. rape. looting. hard to describe how animalistic people get.
i think the pogroms are worse than the social studies.

Post the proportion of Non-Muslims in Pakistan as of 1947 and 2004.
Post the proportion of Non-Hindus during the same period.
:)
As to riots, you cannot seem to understand that a Muslim rioter in India is as animalistic as a Hindu one. There are victims on all sides. It's called mob mentality.
But tell me you want to be in a country where the government says your religion is bad versus another where people of your religion have equal rights but have to endure riots where your side can also retaliate...

Nope, that average non-Muslim person in your land has to go through years of school learning that his religion is bad bad bad.
Then if he dares to even sneeze at a Muslim bully, he risks getting thrown in jail for Blasphemy and his head bashed with a hammer by a pious Cop.
His pleas for justice always go unanswered.

Nope. Its Blasphemy, judges, Sharia, text books etc. etc. From cradle to grave its hate for non-Muslims.

thats the stupid arse claim i debunked last time too. 300,000 people switched sides during partition. for pakistan such an influx of muslims and outflux of hindus meant a drastic drop in the proportions. for india which a huge population it didnt.
i actually went through the trouble of posting calculations on how the ratio would drastically change for both countries if the denominator increased by the same number.
i've posted the link in this thread, search for yahudi in this thread.
ps: in order to save responding in a different post: the 300,000 figure is over 12 years till 1960s when they closed immigration..

By that logic it would mean everyone in India is animalistic hindus, muslims, sikhs etc etc. I guess we in Pakistan just dont understand this 'animalistic mob behavious'

yes ur right. Being able to retaliate is a huge right that is given to minorities in India. Nice.

firstly, this is far from the truth. but i realise its your claim against mine, so I'll go with that if i had that option or getting my family pillaged by horded of hindus and then burned alive.

Pray tell how many cops have killed people for blasphemy??? With references. Then compare that with the number of non-Hindus killed in India. In the end we can find the ratios to solve ur numbers problem.
I bet Mr. Emmanuel disagrees with you.

Blasphemy suspect’s death in hospital: Give us justice: father
Baboo Emmanuel, the father of blasphemy suspect Samuel Masih who died in hospital on Friday, has appealed to the authorities to investigate the way the blasphemy case was registered against his son and also to take action against the constable who hit Samuel on the head with a hammer.
“I am sure I will get justice in a country which represents Islam, a religion known as the source of equality and justice,” said Mr Emmanuel on Friday.
Samuel, 27, was accused of littering the wall of a mosque in Lawrence Gardens on August 23 last year. He was suffering from tuberculosis and had to be admitted to Gulab Devi Hospital reportedly on May 19 after a severe attack in jail. He was attacked by constable Faryad on May 22. He died in an emergency ward of the Lahore General Hospital on Friday.
Enough said and enough mud slinging ... now sit back and reflect on what you and others have posted ... time to move on ...
