I have always wondered, Why majority of Pakistanis are obsessed with Indian movies and their artists? what’s so special about them?
The Indian artists are just as stupid as they are and that's why Pakistanis are obssesed with them. I am proud to say I have not seen an Indian movie for 8 years.

I never said I was wisdomed and personified. But see my family in Pakistan is so obssessed with watching that BS that they are stuck in Pakistan and that's why me and my family are here in the USA.

2pak..i presume youre watching english movies now since you were the wise one out of ur family since u moved to the US. and english movies have that oh so realistic touch to them which automatically makes them worth watching.

Actually, i am finding whole stuff very funny. 2Pak's parents dont want to come to USA with him cuz they want to watch Indian movies back home. So many people are watching Indian movies in US too. But his parents prefer to sit in Pakistan and watch Indian movies. And 2Pak finds them stupid since he doesn't watch them. Indian movies causing so much family problem is something I never heard before. but anywayz....

Im suprised that a smart person like you would give such a moronic reply. If you read before my parents both went to Harvard University in Boston, unlike thier bros and sis who could have done the same thing but decided to watch hindi films rather than concentrate on thier studies. Now they are sorry because they have degrading jobs and they deserve it. Im not blaming the indian films, Im blaming them for wasting thier time in watching them. And how can ppl enjoy watching films that have had the same plot for 50+ years and they are all love stories and nothing different.

Though all this sounds very funny. Fighting over nothing...but I do have to say that watching Indian movies is surely a waste of time. I mean why watch something that has no point to it but only teaches people how to mess themselves up. I mean come on people...do we get any valuable lesson out of these time wasting Indian movies. And as far as the American movies are concerned some of them do have a plot. And SOME of them do make sense if not all. Whereas, Indian movies are like what 2Pak said...same old plot for the last 50 or some years.
I have seen people say that oh well it's just a form of entertainment...but I always failed to understand where's the "entertainment" in those????
And by the way...Indian movies along with the western influence have been one of the major factors behind the loss of cultural essence in Pakistan..which has been so very evident lately.
what kind of post is this? Why do u care, why do u watch pakistani movies or american movies, if u do? its the same thing as an indian movie. my parents are from Pakistan, my mom and i love watching indain movies, as well as she loves paki drama and i like amrican films, Its a MOVIE who cares?

Quite frankly,your parents probably went to Harvard cos they could afford it whereas your relatives could'nt.So stop boasting.
As far as indian films go,they are entertaining to watch and some of them are damn good..And the reason why most Pakistanis watch indian films is because indian films are simply better than Pakistani films.Bottom line.When our directors start making better films than the indians,we'll start watching our own movies.
btw 2pak, dont go around talking too much about harvard cos from what i can figure, you'll probably end up in COMMUNITY COLLEGE!
