NO they shouldnot been banned in pakistan. being a big bollywood lover I would love to see more and more bolly movies in pakistan. and if our cinemas can earn a little cash from foreign films then why not. (is bahane cinemas ki ronaq tou barqarar rahe gi) and if bolly movies are banned in pakistan then i am sure the question will be pakistani singers should be banned in india which i certainly donot want since they are all doing a very very good job.

i hate indian movies but my answer is NO
if you dont like something than simply dont watch it.....thats why i am pissed off that youtube and facebook are banned i really hope the bans are soon removed especially since facebook removed the facebook group that the govt had a problem with but now some other people made a fb group with the same title.....if you dont like something then YOU DONT BE A PART OF IT....DO NOT FORCE OTHERS NOT TO BE A PART OF IT

NO they shouldn't be banned as they are now the only source if income for most of the remaining cinemas in Pakistan.
However, having said this, I feel cinema distributors should prioritise any upcoming Pakistani film productions before Indian productions. People such as Reema Khan who have financed films from their own pocket are struggling to get cinema owners to show their films. Also, thorough censorship procedures of Indian films is necessary as there is a double standard out there. Indian films with really explicit content have passed censorship boards whilst films such as KKL have had many scenes cut...where is the sense in that??

They can only be banned if Pakistanis start making their own movies.
The answer is NO, banning indian movies will have no good for anyone! People will again stop going to theaters and the cinema culture that is still struggling will be destroyed completely! Moreover The Pakistani film industry will have an idea of what the audience wants and excepts as entertainment.

haan haan go ahead and ban indian movies uss kai baad to bus saansein hee ban kurna reh jayain gee...dude government should have no say in what content we should watch and shouldn't watch! i don't watch indian movies much...i think they are all the same these days but i respect other peoples right to watch them eventhough i think the movies are full of crap.

the bollywood industry is destroying the lives of many ppl infiltrating the minds of ppl to divert the actual existance of Muslims .. (to practice being a muslim)..
and with bolly movies in pak .. its basically hypocracy ..one min the paki love the movies and teh next ..when india does or say something the paki go against it .. and this same bolly industry supports alot of the major players in the political world financially even to the extent that they fund the indian army to kill our muslim brothers sisters mothers fathers elders in disputed kashmir ...
and someone said .. cinemas are good thatthey makin money and raking it in .. but as muslims as your self a question .. on the day of judgement how will or what will you reply to Allah that what you been watching in cinemas .. what benifit it gave you or was it something you gained sawaab from that you cudnt live without ....

people will watch em no matter what so they shouldn't ban them, instead they should introduce rating and also censor obscenity and restrict em for younger audience.
do the survey, what age of people are interested in what kind of genre and work towards that. discuss the morality issue with the kids in school. encourage heathy positive debate.
but remember obscenity and vulgarity only corrupts young mind, and parents needs awareness of what content to be supply and content should be stayed away from their children. however, one should be mature enough to discuss any taboo scenarios rather then adopt those practices and experiment with them and later on face terrible consequences.
