Indian Modesty is different from Pakistani modesty

Re: Indian Modesty is different from Pakistani modesty

Not really. Mallika Sherawat’s father also disowned her for going into showbiz. Before she even became famous or did a single movie he disowned her. Even if she has become famous and popular, acted in Hollywood, or been on Cannes jury. They still havent started contact.

Has Veena’s father stopped contact and was it because of her doing that photo shoot for magazine or for acting in films? Was it before Big Boss that she got disowned? Have Meera’s parents disowned her? Have Mona Lisa’s parents disowned her? He did it personally and before she became famous.

You might think your closer to Arabs but seems like not all Arabs share that sentiment or they wouldn’t have banned Pakistani women marrying Arab men. They would also treat Pakistani workers better in UAE. Note how Indian women are not banned from marrying Saudis but Pakistani women are. Does that mean India is closer to Saudi Arabia? No, it doesn’t.

Compare that to the respect that Shoaib Malik enjoys as guest on Indian tv shows. Already desi men are banned from marrying Arabs. Kind of like how China recently showed their anti-religion/Muslim feelings.
Pakistan doesn’t have same laws as Arab countries. People of any nationality can marry Pakistanis and Pakistani women are allowed to drive.
There are differences in modesty depending on section of society and level of conservatism/liberalism. India is a secular society but all religions have their religious laws.
My father disowned me and I became Mallika Sherawat
