India Pakistan are the same thing. Actions speak louder than words. Its not only our pro indian president but our people also.
Any paki who doesen't watch indian movie is surely not part of the general trend.
To be honest our forefathers or maybe our masters made a mistake 60 years back which our generation or the next will undo... And yes there never was and never is anything islamic about pakistan... than why the whole drama...
I am a proud Muslim from the great Indian Subcontinent. Denying your roots will not change you.
What is so special about Pakistan that is not so special about INDIA?
India has Muslims, and Pakistan has Muslims.
In India there are mosques and so are in Pakistan
In India religion is a personal matter and so is in Pakistan
In India Hajj pilgrims get a subsidy on air ticket, in Pakistan you get fleeced
In India you are safe while in Pakistan you can be vanished in the name of war on terror.
We have the same food
Same likes and dislikes
Similar language
Same culture...
The what the hell are we fooling ourselves for?
I know the likes who get brain washed by the Pakistani jageerdars - Mazaris, lagharis chattas and ullo ka pathaas...
SInce 60 years we have done more harm to our Muslim brothers in India than any good...
So its about time we stop this nonsense and get United in the name of peace.
Jai Hind!
Buddy, I can post u numerous articles on the halat of you people in india and that right there will prove what the difference is between an islamic country and and a hindoo country with muslims.
I'd rather die as a result of suicide blast by some nut job in Pakistan than to have to kiss hindoo feet like y'all do.
Other garbage u posted is just stuff u people feed urself to sleep peacefully at night.
Me: Nah man I'm Pakistani.
Indian: Oh yea same thing. =)
NO, crackerjack. It's not the same thing.
So, no. It's not the same thing.
Yes you are right I used to get this remark too. On a positive note their remark is not because they want to insult you it is because they want to find a common ground. But being Pakistani I also want to be identified with Pakistan distinctly and clearly so I invented an answer , read on.
My answer has been :
I am from that part of India which is no more India, I am from Pakistan.
This answer does not leave the room for any other kind of remark.
Nobody took any offence so far so I think this answer works. Unless someone comes up with a better one.
is this a fact that we get over emotional over things..
Could this situation be resolved without anyharsh argumentation..
simply by no i am from pakistan// mayb with a smile.. arent we over judging the 'same thing' comment...
more or less similar dialect.. similar foods.. similar clothes..
i know quite a few indian muslims and they never complain about any kind of discrimination.. indian discriminates more towards lower class hindus than towards muslims..
Maybe he meant by "same thing" that both him and you are desis,he most probably didnt mean that Pakistan is a part of India,he meant both these countries are part of the same desi culture. Pakistan as a separate country is an established fact for the last 60 years.
