Hamid Reza Asefi: Iran is considering reducing trade
**Iran’s ambassador in New Delhi has met a top Indian foreign affairs official to convey his government’s deep disappointment at India’s decision to vote against Tehran on a UN atomic agency resolution. **
The meeting between Indian Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran and Iranian Ambassador Siyavash Zargar Yaghoubi took place on Tuesday, as Iran threatened to review trade deals with countries that voted against it at the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The Indian Foreign Ministry said in statement released on wednesday that Saran had explained to Yaghoubi the rationale behind India’s decision at the IAEA vote on Saturday.

**Iran scraps natural gas export deal with India after its IAEA vote: report
**September 28, 2005 - 4:17
NEW DELHI (AP) - Iran has scrapped a natural gas export deal with India after New Delhi voted in favour of a UN atomic agency resolution putting Tehran on notice over its nuclear program, a newspaper reported Wednesday.
Under a deal signed in June, India planned to import five million tons of liquefied natural gas annually for 25 years with deliveries from Iran starting in 2009. Iran’s decision to cancel the deal was conveyed to India’s permanent representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency by Iran’s ambassador in Vienna, Austria, The Hindu newspaper reported.
Dr. manmohan Singh is ONCE AGAIN ACTING THE SAME WAY, denying the facts…
**But the office of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh denied the report, calling it inaccurate, and the Indian Foreign Ministry said it has received no such indication from Iran, although the ambassadors of India and Iran to Vienna had met. **
**“We have been given no indication in these interactions of Iran’s intentions to review its long-standing and extensive cooperation with India which is of benefit to and in the interest of both countries,” the ministry said in a statement. **
You guys see what you want to see. Apni fikar karo. Don’t drag pakistan here again.
Is something holding Pakistan back for not having the gass pipeline ONLY UPTO PAKISTAN… Deal is cancelled with India, not with Pakistan, Right?
Why you guys think that Pakistan is dependent on india for its survival when the case is clearly the opposite…
Here is your own source giving the same news
**NEW DELHI: Iran has scrapped a natural gas export deal with India after New Delhi voted in favor of a UN atomic agency resolution putting Tehran on notice over its nuclear program, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Under a deal signed in June, India planned to import 5 million tons of liquefied natural gas annually for 25 years with deliveries from Iran starting in 2009.
Iran’s decision to cancel the deal was conveyed to India’s permanent representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency by Iran’s ambassador in Vienna, Austria, The Hindu newspaper reported.
It followed India’s decision to join the US, Britain, France, Germany and other nations in backing a resolution calling on the agency to consider reporting Iran to the UN Security Council for not complying with the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.**
NEW DELHI: Iran has informed India that the five-million-tonne a year liquefied natural gas (LNG) export deal, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2009 for a 25-year period, is off. This was conveyed to Indian officials in Vienna soon after the anti-Iran vote cast on Saturday by New Delhi at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) governing board meeting.
This could mean that India is going to snub China as well, as it seems to be coming firmly into the US fold. The Times of India has always advocated closer ties between India and the US. After all the countries have many things in common.
I think India's support for the resolution (knowing full well that Iran would cancel the gas deals) was an masterly stroke of cunning diplomacy. India has much to gain by supporting America. What will it gain from Iran?
Thats a good answer to Indian's ******punn. They are like, we gonna drown you into deep ocean but please hand us your wallet anyways. Thank you Baniyae!!!!! your real face is shown to the region. you can have nukes for everyone in the region but your long time trading partner can't even have a nuclear power plant.
The thing is that this news has been given out by Indian Newspapers themselves…
The Hindu
And
Times of India
And later on other sources took it up. In case this turns out to be wrong, it will be a clear proof that the Indian News papers spew utter lies about everything. Their news credibility will be affected badly…
Bhai,
There is a difference between India and Pakistan. India needs to come up as a Thanedaar of this region that is why such “cunning diplomacies” will sooner or later haunt them and ultimately what they’d have to do would be
REMAIN NEUTRAL otherwise
Otherwise they will burn their ass in fire and will run for “water” “water” or they will dip their rear ends in Indian Ocean to put that fire off…
