Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket
I don’t want to start bashing Indians here but that statement is such a joke. Short memory you have, because I vividly remember crowds disrupting matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the past. And from that video I just watched on cricinfo, that is thoroughly disgusting crowd behaviour. Abusing the Sri Lankans, and shouting obscenities even after the match ended, that is disgraceful behaviour. Sure these might just be a handful but those Indian journalists (and Zaltzman) certainly didn’t appreciate that. For the record, I was watching the last few overs of the match in a cafe here, there was definitely a sense of longing and envy among the crowd but at the same time many were applauding the manner of the win.
