Pakistani media borders on retarded when it comes to Indian content. On the one hand, they play these indian songs as background music, run indian movies every other day, run indian shows, even dramas on their channels, yet when they are discussing something about india, they always refer to it as 'parosi mulk' or 'sarhad paar'. It seems as if just the word (name) "India" is banned....rest all is fair game. There is a channel that shows the famous dance show from India, 'Dance India Dance', and the title of the show has been digitally altered to 'Dance Is Dance'. Who are they fooling? Other than PTV, all channels show indian films, dramas and reality shows. Yet Pakistani channels are all banned in India.
one of the many reasons, why I dont switch on Geo and ary, its like our neighbour culture is being imposed on us. :(

exactly, since it loses the gravity of the issue, how do you expect citizens to take up that issue seriously, stand up againstit/ raise their voice/protest, when they have ridiculed everything, in result, news loses its impact :(
Soon our language will be replaced by Hindustani/Hindi, our children will complain that "na phere hove na aag jali", what sort of marriage was that?, and soon we will lose whatever is left, if we did not wake up. It's about time.
at 4:00 he speaks about Indian content in our news channels and at 6:00 he shows packages where bollywood songs are playing as background score when they are talking about serious issues!:smack:
Let’s say for some reason India Pakistan war starts, the ‘awam’ will not be as ‘patriotic’ and will have soft corner for Indians.
This is how the wars are also won..slowly masquerading and infiltrating in to a country’s citizens minds. Citizens start thinking against their own country being bad or aggressor.
Day and night people already talk about bollywood actresses and actors and feel sad if they see even little problems in these celebrities lives.
Some even think they do or should look like these actors or actresses.

There national Anthem, Amar Sonar Bangla was written by Robindranath Tagore, but I doubt if influence of bollywood music can affect Pakistani Nationalistic ideology and emotion during scene like war.

Well, You doubt, and I hope the scenario of war never occur that we see people having doubt on Pakistan side.
Flooding the culture is what another way to win the minds of people especially these days.
But this method is very old and as a history lover you might know this as well. Greeks, Latins, Arabs, British, Persians had their cultural influence over other nations and ruled them for a long time.
Recently China started worried about Harry Potter and transformers influence over their people.
A good number of people who migrated to West grew up with western movies/shows in their countries and when they grew up, they didn't mind even going through the hardships to leave their countries.
More importantly you have a record of such posts. I am disappointed Rangoli TLK AMAL have not taken issue with your post. You took OP'S post to an insidious level - warning your AWAM that being friendly with Indians (or developing a soft corner for them) is dangerous if war breaks out.
