Flooding the culture is what another way to win the minds of people especially these days.
But this method is very old and as a history lover you might know this as well. Greeks, Latins, Arabs, British, Persians had their cultural influence over other nations and ruled them for a long time.
Recently China started worried about Harry Potter and transformers influence over their people.
A good number of people who migrated to West grew up with western movies/shows in their countries and when they grew up, they didn’t mind even going through the hardships to leave their countries.
