when you are talking about past events you can not pick and choose only what suits your point of view , i was responding to the guy who said pakistains are big hearted but indians are not because they shot down pak plane in 1999. i was preaching to forget bad memories of both countries , not selectively forgetting one sided stories or bad memories .

Well said. And if I may add, you also pointed out the big heartedness of the Pakistanin pilot (1965) when he reached out to the affected party. So your recollection of the 1965 was in no way one-sided.
