neither p .a.f. apologised nor i.a.f. is going to , because organisations dont have hearts , 70 years old pilot of pakistan air force who shot down the passenger plane was confirmed that plane he was shooting down was not a fighter plane and it was flashing messages of distress as passenger planes do during distress. this is his greatness that he accepted his folly. in case of tension and war survillance military/ navy planes do not get even benifit of doubt .

what is important here pakistan has behaved as responsible nation states and should be applauded.

Sir please correct you version of the event, no one from PAF has apologised about shooting down the plane, all he issued letter of reget of loss on innocent lives.

On ther side he defended the action, as it was during indo Pak war of 1965, although the piolet recognised that was passenger aircraft and communicated to control tower but was ordered to shoot it down and he proceed to do so accordingly.

Later on he found that radar found the aircraft moving in the area suspicious manner they thought it is on some sort of surveillance mission (they were wrong though), on base of that they have taken that action.

The piolet told BBC they he feels sorry of innocent lives, but didn’t feel that action was wrong, as these kind of things commonly happen during fog of war.
