Polish guy is not the only one. Did you forget Daniel Pearl ??
Yeah, that was tragic. He was killed by terrorists.. He was indulging in activity that was bound to land him in a lot of trouble. In the end it turned out it was Arab terrorists who decided to kill him.
Contrast this to India where foreigners are killed by members of the general public and angry mobs.
So the main point, people killed in India are killed by Indians, while in Pakistan the few tragedies that have occured have been at the hands of terrorists, and has a direct corelation to the War.
In India the murders of foreigners has nothing to do with any war, and everything to do with the murderous nature of many people in India.
Thats why we are better then you are:)
Pakistan army needs a reason for its survival and to take over democratic insitutions in Pakistan .... by the threat from India it can step in as a defender of the country and do the kind of things they have been doing .... and the ordinary people of Pakistan have to suffer. India has no such complusion ......
India has to opress the people of Kashmir at all cost and make sure they have no oppurtunity to express their will for freedom. This occupation means antagonizing people in Pakistan who want Kashmiris to free of Indian oppression as Pakistan is today.
If it werent for Kashmir and the hostility is produces between the two countries, India would have no need for huge defense spending.
Take Kashmir out of the picture and their is no reason for hostility between Pakistan and India, and hence no need for Indian defense spending.
Keeping Kashmir oppressed and occupied, and continuously antagonizing Pakistan, suits the needs of your military hawks and your neo imperialist politicians, who would rather spend money on bombs then to feed nearly half a billion people in India who are still malnourished.
Make sense now?
These are also the same Indian who thought Siachin was a great idea, and still refuse to leave the glacier...
News flash for you .... Kashmiri's expressed their opinion just a few months back ... something that even the sepratists accept now ... so it is time you wake up to reality.
The trouble in Kashmir started in 1989 and it had its sponsors across the border in Pakistan ..... there was some resentment in Kashmir and this was exploited by elements in Pakistan. However over last few years the realisation has dawnwed on the leadership in Pakistan that this line of action is not having the desired effect and they need to realise the ground realities. That is why someone teh government in Pakistan has moved away rom the UN resolution rhetoric .......
The people of Kashmir might have resentment against the policies of the government but they are not going to go anywhere. Even during the summer protests once the government order was taken back, the rallies stopped. And people went about doing their bussiness and after a few months took active part in the elections. These are ground realities ..... rest we can slug it out here for as long as we like :)
