Indian Air Force to lose Air superiority to Pakistan (Merged)

Re: Indian Air Force to lose Air superiority to Pakistan (Merged)

Please you are quoting one sided history.

Apart from 1971 which was a total defeat (not because of quality of manpower but generals only). 1965 was a stalemate by most observations but had hurt Pakistan much much more than India. India has 5 times more land captured than us & Lesser tank casualities than us (These two out of many are basic parameters of gauaging the efficiency). yes our artillery was good but so was theirs. In 1971 their navy completely outclassed our navy and destroyed three ships without any casuality of their own. Our Dwarka raid was a useless operation while their trident et all were brilliant. Our airborne operation failed in 1965 with the leader captured while their Taganil airdrop was the reason we surrendered. i mean we have Hilli to our credit so do they battle of tololings and asal uttar. It is a fallacy to think that we are trained superiorly. I think that both armies are similar in training but only our generals are generally more busy in other things than warfare so we suffer on ground. In Hilli the Brigade Commander always used to stand with the troops and we produced the best heroics.

Our trainer aircraft may be better but F-16 block A/B type held with pakistan army are no better than long range SU-30. Also for quality of pilots, i have no history to prove otherwise so may be possible.
