^Murali does not have my respect. Not that it matters.
As for Harbhajan, chucking doosra or not, he does not really deserve to be in the team. He bowled crap in Australia and against the South Africans. Only got a few wickets on a minefield of a wicket at Kanpur. If he does not come good against the Lankans, he should be replaced by Ojha.

It rained heavily last night and there's a consistent drizzle on at the moment. The whole of the ground is covered up though but it will take a lot of time to mop it up, the rain needs to stop. Not the best of times really to stage a game in the country of Sri Lanka. Month of July, the rainy season is here and the present situation shouldn't really be a surprise to any of us.

The head groundsman has said that it will take them an hour and a half to clear up the complete covering on the ground. That's going to be a tough job since 90% of the ground is under the covers. Chances of getting any play before lunch looks really bleak.

its the first series after quite a while that is worth following...finally some real cricket in subcontinent...IPL, ICL, Kitply, asia cup, zimb and BD in pak were almost horrible enough to make anyone quit following cricket.
