Another great game of cricket!! This WC has already produced some awesome games.
In the end India were 70-80 runs short of they should have, and 30 runs short of what would have been a winning total. Should have sent Yuvraj 1 down in this situation. Gauti started way too slowly. The bowlers did alright I feel. Death over bowling selection could've been better but hindsight is a beautiful thing isn't it.
Botha and Peterson cameos sealed it for the Saffers. Steyn came back well after being totally spanked by Viru and Sachin up front.

I think in both the games against England and South Africa, the indian batters had an opportunity to close out the game with the bat but they failed which cost them dearly in the end. The middle and late-middle order batters slackened and took their eyes off the game thinking the total was already big enough. That is what separates Australia from the rest of the teams. They would have just killed off opposing teams in such situations. Against England, India were well on course to score 370 and even today they should have got 350 atleast after the start they had 267/1. Actually Gambhir did ok (SR: 92.00) in the end despite a cautious start. It was the batsmen that followed Tendulkar incl. Yuvi who messed it up big time to let go of the platform set up by Sachin, Gambhir and Sehwag

The most annoying thing for me is when Indian players get all fired up. Ye munh aur masoor ki daal. Harbajhan/Kohli's behaviour after DeVilliers got out was just priggish. Glad they wound up as losers.

To me the most fun was to see the Pakistani crowd here jump up and down rooting for SAffies....but then I can understand that. After the thrashing they received from the kiwis, it is natural for them to disown their own team and start rooting for someone else.

Yea Gauti's stats look okay in the end but his start was wayy too slow for the situation. I hate the term BATTING ORDER. There should be no order except the openers. Players should come in as per the situation. Yuvraj or Raina would have been perfect today at 1 down.. no Raina in the team so Yuvraj should have come next. Eitherway though the middle order definitely fked up.. yea sure they had to start blasting from the beginning which isnt easy but there is no excuse for collapsing the way they did.
