As fart as my memory goes, this is first time India was saved by rain from a certain defeat.

If you think about it, the only difference between India and England in this Test was KP's innings ....otherwise England's batting sucked just as much as India's. And it is not fair to say...that the Englishmen were immensely deserving victors.

F&B is right, I don't remember the last time when Indians were benefited by rain/bad light. It has always been the opposite. So ..thank God...the merciful.

Good for India, Unlucky for Eng they deserve to Win this game.....tough decision to be made for selection of indian team ahead.

yep..it was close. A marignal LBW decision could have tilted match in India's favor. For example Dravid's LBW..
.. I think more than KP inning( We still managed to get England out for 281), it was first day's rubbish bowling that gave England advantage. This wicket was not 2/200 wicket.

you need to come out clean and tell us which are the teams you support. We know who is at bottom of your Support-social-structure..It is India. Who is at the top and in which order.. England, Kenya

Atleast India could say that they were on a par with England in the second innings :) A good result for them in the end
I thought the Indian bowlers did a pretty good job in both innings, esp. in restricting England's first innings total to 298 from an ominous position of 255-3. At one stage I thought England would amass 400-450. In the second innings though the Indians let things slip up a bit after having England 5-132 at one stage. And their batsmen never really came to the party and but for Dhoni's innings, India would have lost depite the bad weather. They should have done better than reaching 201 from a not so bad position of 134-3 in the first innings. The first innings deficit almost proved decisive and but for rain England would have won

No ,England lucky to win the toss and able to play under a good batting condition in the first day .Then the scond day after the rain ,they bundled out .So were Indians,but that first innings lead played a big part here .It is not like that the English played an out of the world cricket .apart from Kp there was an ordinary effort therm .also lucky with the first day part .Now see things with more unbiased way (i know it is not possible ).Still, Indians were always at the receiving end of this ''rain culprit ''way .now we got lucky .Things should get a balance. .Now my Pakistani hunks chill out! .

Maybe you could explain why the brilliant Indian batting line up could not overhaul the ordinary effort, apart form KP (your words not mine). Doesn't say much about the much hyped batting line up. So chill and accept the below par performance against an ordinary team. :)
