re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
Kohli is overdue a big score. He is averaging 10.00 in the series so far (40 runs in 4 innings)
By contrast his opposite number Steve Smith (80*) has scored 263 runs @ 63.00.
re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
Australia have recovered well from a shaky 89/3 to 289/4, Smith completing his second hundred (19th overall). The only player to score a hundred in this series so far.
Maxwell 74* has played his part as well
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi

Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
Saha’s efforts to help Smith have now become a new amusement in today’s savage internet :hehe:
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
and the headlines r maxwell played 100 balls in an innings. playing reverse sweep only after 100 balls
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
The first time any team crossed 400 in this series. Aus eventually all out for 451, Smith 178*
India also very solid in reply 120/1
INDIA 120/1 (40.0 ov, CA Pujara 10*, M Vijay 42*, SNJ O’Keefe 0/30) - Stumps | Live Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
India 235 for 3. Kohli out cheaply. As Gavaskar said, today’s indian batsmen go hard at the good length new ball before getting set. Kohli showing weakness outside off.
Smith clearly best batsman in Test cricket.
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
I am confused. But it is my parampara to return a wink with a wink.
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
Day 3: India 360/6 in reply to Australia’s 451
Draw favourite unless one of the teams collapses in the 2nd innings
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
It will be an interesting day today.
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
well played pujara… I like his battng
Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
India in the driving seat thanks to that 189-run partnership between double centurion Pujara and Saha.
Now only one team can lose this game.
Australia up against it

Re: India vs Australia 3rd Test in Ranchi
Australia is in the same situation which Pakistan was in the 2nd test in Australian tour which they lost.
Had Aussies not won the first test in this series, it could be a payback moment for Ian chappell to realize when he said Australia should reconsider inviting Pakistan for a full series.
