India v/s Australia 1st. Test

A word of wisdom for those in anticipation of an epic comeback: everyday is not Sunday. I expect nothing less than a drubbing all three tests by the Aussies.

I think Dravid, Ganguly are better batsman than Laxman but you have missed the point completely. My point was that India is not orphan when it comes to batting.

Just Dont praise/expect from one batsman so much that you simply IGNORE the likes of Dravid and Ganguly. Praising Tendulkar that much is understandable but Laxman...

(and thats my point of view, you or anyone else on this form has all rights to differ)

My sentiments friend, my sentiments. Any player should not be hyped beyond propertions that the day he misses a match becomes a moral desaster for the team.

But in test cricket individual performances such as a 100 or 5 wicket haul is alright as long as the team playes like a unit for 4 innings/5 days.
The formula of success is that all 11 contribute their max. And a good weather man.

ODI can have the likes of Laxman or Tendu to turn the match around
within minutes or with few balls/overs.

these two, Irfan and parthiv will fight, especially irfan he has good defence and maybe he can save india from follow on!

lol take that :rotfl:

Pathan out on a terrible call by the ump

maza agaya :bhangra: world’s best batting side :roftl:

Yuvi my boy :hehe: Gangs :k: Laxoo

India 246 all out.

Australia did not enforce the follow on.

Australia 0/1

0.4 Pathan to Langer, OUT: Pathan strikes early! pitched outside the
off stump and angling in, Langer pushes forward and gets hit on
the pad, very close to the off stump line, loud appeal - Bucknor
is convinced

Good Morning Ehsan Bhai, and other Guppies of KK.

Hayden run out 30.

Australia 72/2

Lead India by 300 runs.

26.2 Kumble to Katich, OUT: got'm! tossed up outside the off stump,
Katich goes for the booming drive and ends up with a thick edge
straight to Dravid at first slip, as easy as it gets

Australia 86/3

Lead by 314 runs.

Aus 113/4 leading by 341

Australia finished the day at 127/4 a lead of 355.

India is in big trouble.

aussies 2nd innings 127/4 {42 overs} overall lead of ** 355 runs ** @ end of day 3..........

:( man india are in for it unless the kolkata magic is repeated by lax' and drav'....

so what do you guys think, aus will bat till lunch?

India are looking down the barrel for sure. Australia saved them from the humiliation of an innings defeat.

^ AGREED i thought aussies would enforce the follow on

^ They wana practice for the next match. There is no better practice than to bat out in the middle. Good call by Aus. Also, the Calcutta test (2001) must be playing in the back of their minds, I am sure.

IF India can get Australia out before mid day tomorrow then there is SOME hope for India otherwise they should focus on next test match. :p

Hope for India? lol

They scored less than 250 in the first innings playing most of the second day. And you really believe they will chase 400 plus on the final two day?.

O-kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Where is the next test being played at?
