India v/s Australia 1st. Test

So there we r just on the brink of start of a well hyped test series … and i hope both teams will do everything possible to live up not only to the hype but to the Task and try to reach the Goal they set themselve …

India not beaten by an Aussie side for 30 years and recently reached a well fought Draw down-under … and Aussies who r very much keen to break this rather not so shining record of not winning in India for that long …

I think with the above mentioned background it’s gonna be a cracker of a series (Hopefully) and not boring/dull draws

this is a beautiful opportunity for AUS to break the jinx, it would be tough to get a better situation for them than the current one. india is depleted of key players, most notable tendulkar (and the morale that comes with him). in addition, the rest of the side has been notably out of form for the past few months.

anything can happen, hopefully india can preserve this streak.

my prediction: Warne snags 10 wickets in the first test.

^Nah...I dont think Warne would be too successful...he does not have a great record against the Indians.... Indians will be able to tackle anything he comes up with....

However ..regardless of how Warne performs...I see Australia winning the series at least 3-0 (assuming there are 4 tests).

Australia won the toss, Gilchrist chooses to bat first

wow Singh just got Hayden
Well done for India

On the whole, if the media reports are true I think India has a very good shot at winning this series. With the pitch totally geared towards spin and the Aussies having only one speacilist spinner, you would have to think India has a good advantage considering they will play 2-3 speacilist spinners.
