Kumble gets Katich

Kumbles 400th wicket

 :salute:

Quite an achievement. :k:

over # 85 from Kumble 18 runs:mad:

85.1 Kumble to Gilchrist, three runs, short outside the off stump, cut
away to the deep point region, long chase from Laxman saves one
run
85.2 Kumble to Clarke, (noball) FOUR, and Clarke rolls on! comes down
the track and hits it over the mid-off fielder, this is excellent
batting
85.2 Kumble to Clarke, no run, tossed up outside the off stump, defended
on the back foot
85.3 Kumble to Clarke, bye: FOUR, quicker delivery down the leg side,
Patel is bit late to move across, ball runs down to the fine leg
fence
85.4 Kumble to Clarke, FOUR, short in length, pulled away to the fine
leg fence, another top shot from the young man
85.5 Kumble to Clarke, legbye: one run
85.6 Kumble to Gilchrist, one run, turned away to the midwicket region,
expensive over

On first day Australia is in Control, Let c wat happens 2morrow

congratulations to Kumble on 400 wickets. :k:

Gilli 35 of 34 in a test match ! :dhimpak:

Aussis are the best entertainers i guess !

Aus seems in control today, but even now i think India has gotta chance to come back in the game if two quick wickets fall tomorrow then Indian spinners have the ability to go through the Aus tail...and if Indians can justbat through the day with less than 4 wickets down it would still be In India advantage.

Billy hurting India real bad. Even clark started to walk or seemed like starting to walk but Billy gives it not out.....Clark on 92 kumble bowling

looks like the Aussies are pretty set right now. They could make greater than 400 wich would make it real tough on India to win. With Dravid and Laxman batting I think this will likley be a tie the way things are heading right now.
Then again if the headlines are true the pitch will be really tough to bat on for Days 4 and 5, so who knows.......

Ouch
Glichrist just took something like 14 of Harbajan. Thats gotta hurt.

Gilchrist out by diving catch (Harbhajan) on last ball before lunch.

Warne out too.

Clarke is steaming ahead. he looks very promising....i would look out for him in the future.

Australia all out for 474

McGrath to Chopra, OUT: got'm! good length delivery, pitched
outside the off stump and moving in, Chopra offers no shot and the
ball hits the pad plumb in front of the stumps, loud appeal and
the finger goes up, McGrath strikes early

2.3 McGrath to Dravid, OUT: Gone! pitches just outside off and nips
back, Dravid tries to defend it on the front foot, ball goes
through the gat and hits the top of middle stump, McGrath Strikes
again!

India in deep trouble....4/2 and their most consistent and reliable batsmen, Dravid, out for for 0.
