yes - perhaps... I don't remember exactly, but it was less than 6 - and with the two of them on a roll, I thought it was doable. Oh well, such is the game of cricket.

One thing that other teams still have to catchup with Aus is their FIELDING. The hit and hit hard with their fielding specially in crunch time. Many time, its just one moment of brilliance in field that sparks their come-back

simply unreal batting by tendulkar....just saw the highlights...unreal stuff....so much pressure on his shoulder..so many expectations....and he scored 175....

We Indians don't deserve Tendulkar in some respects. One guy has singlehandedly held up Indian cricket to a class for past 20 years. Even the shine that others have briefly shown was in large parts made possible by Tendulkar being the foundation.

He once again proved why he is in a class of his own, not just the world's best ever. His real contribution is a lot more than what records can reveal.

PS: I came back after a few days and read through the thread without looking at the result. My God, this was so entertaining! Grand job guys!

In particular hats of to Arleitter and PIU for showing such commitment!
