India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan

NEW DELHI: India has given a deadline of December 26 to Pakistan for crackdown on people involved in Mumbai terror plot, said a report.

##Stratfor, the publisher of geopolitical intelligence on Tuesday, in its report says after Mumbai attacks, India relayed a message to Pakistan via the US that they would be given “30 days to carry out significant actions in cracking down on militant groups operating on Pakistani soil”.

Islamabad has been denying that they were from Pakistan.

The US made clear to Pakistan that Islamabad will have to deliver on India’s demands or else Washington will not be able to stand in New Delhi’s way, it said.

The report said India using time to prepare its military forces, and waiting when the time comes to act.

However, the report said, it is still unclear how far India will take this military campaign and to what extent the US operations in Afghanistan will be affected.

The intelligence publisher reported that the US, knowing its “limitations” of the relationship with New Delhi, is already preparing for “a worst-case scenario”.

Yes, they will set a new deadline :)

Another deadline :silly:

Reminds me of Saddam, he draws a line in the sand and dares US to cross it when US does he draws another and says the same.

Guyz and gals, go home and enjoy your Xmas and new year holidays, let India make noises so long it knows the meaning of suicide it will do the same dance it did in 2001/2002.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

After unsuccessful visit by Mullen, India will not attack but Pakistan should be prepared and on RED alert in all sectors.

Our neighbor is deceptive by nature and cowardly when it comes to strategy so we must not turn our back on these geedarrs.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

The title of this thread is misleading, since the Dec 26th deadline is a claim/assessment made by Stratfor and not India's official/public stance.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

^^ What is india's official stance, or did India ever had an official stance....

India is creating uncertainity, which is not good for India ( forget Pakistan for a moment) the investor's lobby in India seems to be moving, now, bringing the WAR craze down...

but i guess, Indian hates Pakistan for all the reasons ( right or wrong), A party having agenda to solve or enhance peace process in between India and Pakistan, so the politicial parties, dispite the need of time, they have to create war-like-situation to wint the election.

This take me to the conclusion that, the majority in India is war-mongers and exterimist bynature, they want to have this confrontation with their neighbour...

At this is the only reason Indian govt cannot take any official stance on any thing.. they just say something and then deny it..

Pak should let it be known in very clear terms…if any Indian forces, Land Sea or Air; threaten Pakistan or Azad Kashmir’s boundaries…Bombai …Banglore…New Dehli and 15 other cities kay Bum Bum Bolay…:k:

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

Nothing.

loool. amen to that.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

Should India Declare a War on Pakistan

it seems that the indian people dont want a war eithers

its always the money makers that want it! not the common man

India's official stance is that Paksitan should stop "living in denial" and take action against the terrorist groups operating against India from Pakistani soil.

India claims that sufficient proof has been provided to Pak, Pak claims no proof received. Obviously you & me do not know what the truth is since we will not be copied on the proof.

However, the USA has come out and said that proof has been provided about the Mumbai attacks and Pak needs to take action.

The Indian PM has categorically said that we are not looking for a war, however it seems that Pak is using the threat of war to divert attention from the main issue of terrorists operating within its boundaries. To me, it seems like Pakistanis are war mongers. Look back in history, and you will realize who started the last 4 wars.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

Yet your foreign minister says the opposite?

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

^ The foreign minister only said that all options are open.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

I think in these 2-3 days Indian Army will be deploying its some troops in Afghanistan near Baluchistan :p

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

^ And they will be given a phenti of a lifetime, not by the Pak Army but by the natives there.

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

^oh ya I heard on the news Talibani will be fighting from Pakistani side, but its nothing new :hehe:

Re: India sets Dec 26 deadline for Pakistan.

^ As long as the chitrool is offered to the cowardly Indian Army in places where they do not belong, who cares what side they fight from. P.S. if a handful of maja gamma villagers can take on the entire Moombai police for days, I can only imagine what this weak hearted somosa Army will put up against tribals.

So Pakistanis don’t like Samosas ??

Spock, but you are forgetting the major difference between IA and PA and that is our brave Indian Soldiers died to save Indian citizens lives while sending terrorists rooh to hell, but they never surrendered to terrorists or raised their hands without shooting a bullet, now you know what I mean? :smokin:
