Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad
i dont think rivalry is to justify partition, I think rivalry on a state level is to keep awaam busy lookign outward rather than inward and solving internal issues and questioning the leaders.
Rivalry on this board is purely idiotic. parrh liya, likh liya laikin rhaya wohi kunwain kay maindak..
Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad

Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad
I th’o’t Pakistan an’ India can live in peace. The two nations share uh history o’ fighting fo’ each other’s freedom. They do also gots uh violent history o’ fighting wiff each other. We can start uh new chapter where dere iz nahh rivarly rather than competition but fo’ dat ta happen peeps need ta become mo’ tolerant an’ accept other peep’s culture an’ religion. Thank ya. ya’ll is mad stupid
Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad
The posters on this board have done an excellent job in culling a mountain of statistics on rapes and public defecation in the subcontinent.
The level of compassion and sympathy that each party has shown to the other party's women --for getting raped and being defecated on-- is so unprecedented, that it clearly debunks the conventional wisdom that rivalry exists between the two countries.
The pakistanis care about indian women, and the indians care about pakistani women. DEAL.

Norway was a part of Sweden till 1905…Both were at each others necks for most of the 17th,18th & 19th Centuries…After Denmark-Norway sided with Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars, Norway was ceded to the king of Sweden in 1814.
Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad
malhot, it is bad. And I think it is mostly artificial and a way of proving that the two people have divergent world-views and so are different. I wonder why should one humuliate others to prove one's distinctiveness!
Yes, there may some incompatibilities but how does that mean there can't be a way of co-existence.
How sensible and rational it is to believe that 800 millions Hindus are bad and all Muslims are good with Pakistanis on the top of the list of good people?
Here people are using terms like "Hindu Banya" derogatively. Frankly, as for I have heard from my elders and other people, Hindu traders enjoyed high respect in Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP) and were considered honest in dealings. Once I visited a town where there was Ram Chand---an elderly person whom people called Ram Chand Kaka out of respect and from whose shop people preferred to buy things.
Re: India Pakistan rivilary on this site-is it good or bad
I will try to encapsulate my view in the following paragraph, it does not have to be 100 % correct, but do other Pakistanis feel this way?
I have met quite a few Indians mostly abroad, UK, Switzerland, and Dubai. I am an extremely open hearted person within or out of Pakistan I have always met people as human beings first and then as Indians or Brits or non Muslims etc.
But I beg to differ here that 99% of the time I met indians I could sense this strong Indo-pak bias in them, however they were mostly quite polite but by the end of the evening they have in one way or the other proved me a person who is fro the other side of the fence.<
There are those strong undercurrents that just spin me off…
As far is this BB is concerned, I think it’s a good thing helps us in confronting each other on many different issues.
PS: queer I hope you are a good Indian who would not do the above to a Pakistani.
