The partition wounds mainly inflicted and borne by folks in the North. Folks in the South did not have a skin in the game. Maybe that is why for me personally, all this hate is alien concept. Never had it. And probable never will.

The real bitterness seems to be among Punjabis really. Pathans, Sindhis and Balochis on our side seem to have remained virtually unscathed. Hence the reason why we still have sizable numbers of Hindus and Sikhs in Sindh and KP.
