Thanks pallav, i was there few months ago and i was in in awe over the timeline of the place. some buildings were 2600 years old. Its amazing.

St. Bede's College. Sister was in Auckland House. But she went to college in Chandigarh after high school in Shimla. I went to Punjab University, Chandigarh after college in Shimla. Then came to the US.

Picture of the Day: Kerala Snake boat race.

This race draws a huge crowd and is pride of the state. It attracts a lot of foreign tourists, they book their place months before the race.
Usually they ride on a kerala style boat and few drummer are on board which encourage the rowers to row faster while they sing heroic tales from mythology.

Ah, the females are no less than males. Kerala is the first state in India which achived 100% literacy.
