It is bibi ka maqbara in aurangabad. people also call it mini taj mahal for obvious reasons.

True, it takes a week to see my city itself.
there are so many different cultures and architectures thats why people make multiple visits to see the country.
Infact there are i think 3 taj mahal look alike buildings in India not counting the new replica ones.

there was same amount of land next to taj,to built another taj with black stone
originally for shah jehan's grave,aurangazeb had other plans,u can still see land measurements next to taj

Yes it is real gold, it is one of the two temples covered with gold in India.

Well people make replicas in terms of pandals or just for decorations. Other historical buildings who look like taj mahal are because it was considered the marvel in architecture and because a lot of people in olden days couldnt afford to go see real taj mahal. infact they made a 1/3 replica of taj mahal in bengladesh so that their poor people can see it without having to go to agra.
Legand has it that shahjahan wanted to build a black marble Taj across the river with a silver bridge connecting it. but before he could do that his son imprisoned/killed him.
