Yes you can definitely go to golden temple. i dont think religion is a criterion to enter any religious place in India.
– except Taj mahal @#$#$%% few months ago i went to see taj with my bulgarian and american friends and it turned out that on fridays only muslims are allowed to enter the building. that was a big surprise and embarrassment for me. i had to go across the river and show it to my friends from a distance.
I never been shopping in mumbai… except on roadside fashion markets which are very popular over there. i am told that mumbai is littered with malls , you should not have any problems in finding one. or you can go to website of individual designers and look up their outlets.
lol… india has tons of islands. and the beaches and fishing scene is some of the best due to no human intervention.
govt doesnt allow a lot of people to go to islands of andmans. they have some islands where certain tribes live like the way we used to live thousands of years ago. its a no go area. govt dont want to disturb their peace, instead they do study on them.
see they have another unique thing, swimming elephants. contractors get contract to cut wood from different islands and mechinary like cranes are impossible to bring. so they bring elephants from other islands via sea. elephants swim for 10 of miles with their master on top of them , they lift all the wood and bring it back to the boat and in the evening they are brought back to their native island.
They are called adivasi(native inhabitants) they have similar genes to australian native people, also this were original inhabitants of india I think, there are still few adivasi left in india with mix up, they live mostly in hilly region

Goa is a state with diverse culture and ethnicity. lately it has been home to many westerners , isrealis and hippis from all over the world. I guess you have only beach images in your mind when it comes to goa. so i will try to post images accordingly. Though i have never been to goa :(
