they dont boast about secularism:D(atleast some of them) . go to a hindu forum, then you will see the clear cut division between secular hindus and non-secular hindus. And i just gave an analogy. Laws are there that one person cannot kill the other. has it really been possible to implement it?...and those who are oppressed are converting to christianity and buddhism in quiet big numbers. those indians boast about secularism and rarely comment on these type of threads and you guys focus only on these type of threads and not focus on other things as well which gives an opposite picture.

it would be off topic. but let me tell you, the very purpose of a pakistani "discussing" with them, is to prove their beliefs, customs is wrong and false and bring them to their "correct" path or atleast that is their perception. even i dont really expect them to keep quiet which i feel it is true!

Should i say pakistan is a terrorist state because many of the people are arrested for terrorisum in paksitan. No right because those people dont reflect the view of entrie population of pak. same as this case ..few incidents happen here and there but it doesnt show the real face.
Only thing that matter is such people should be punished!!!

18 houses of Dalits torched

Tension is palpable in village Shahpur under Himmatnagar panchayat under Kochadhaman police station after 18 houses belonging to the Musahar community were torched on Sunday night following a dispute over the right to fish in a government pond. According to reports, there was a verbal duel over fishing in 3.55 acre government land between the two groups of the same community. The houses, however, were burnt by some unidentified persons, sources said. Kishanganj SP Sunil Kumar Sinha, while talking to TOI on Monday, said the DSP has already been sent to the village and he will submit the inquiry report soon. He, however, said that a group of persons had lodged an FIR with the Kochadhaman police station, alleging forcible fishing by some members of Musahar community of the same village, but any FIR on burnt houses had not been lodged. The affected families have, however, been rendered necessary succour and help by the BDO. No arrest has been made in this connection so far.

And brother, just like a few terrorists killing innocent muslims doesnt mean that all muslims are terrorists...............this logic is applicable somewhere else too. a word for the wise is enough........so dont go on silly thoughts of hatred.

Probably I am emotinally charged, but every Rohan, Ramesh, santosh, and singh is our brother, the same thing could have happened in Pakistan so let them go, lets not make an issue out of it. We were one and we are one.

Hundreds of Hindu activists burnt shops owned by Muslims and set vehicles ablaze in Bangalore on Sunday, police and witnesses said. The violence occurred as activists moved through the city to join a rally organised by the right-wing Hindu fundamentalist organisation Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS – National Volunteers’ Corps). On Friday, thousands of Muslim demonstrators protesting against last month’s execution of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, clashed with police and destroyed shops and cars in the city. Bangalore is home to about 1,500 global and Indian IT firms. Their operations were not affected by the violence as they are located on the city outskirts. Police used teargas and batons to disperse the crowds and prohibition orders, restricting movement of four or more people together, were issued in central Bangalore.

More than 2,000 police officers patrolled the affected areas as mobs targeted Muslim shops and vehicles, forcing the closure of some businesses, witnesses said. Police said there were no injuries but witnesses said about five people were wounded in stone-throwing incidents. “Prohibitory orders will be in force until Tuesday,” city police chief N. Achuta Rao, told Reuters. He said there had been some arrests but did not give a number. Karnataka, of which Bangalore is the capital, is ruled by a coalition of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party and a regional party.

On Friday, thousands of Muslim demonstrators protesting against last month's execution of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, clashed with police and destroyed shops and cars in the city.

/\/\/\ I fail to understand how Muslims can so easily roit in any ountry even if they are in a minority???

Ok guys, i live in bangalore and it did happen. Being a Muslim i would blame our Muslim brothers and the Leader of People front and ex-MP CK Jaffer Sharrieff for the entire problem created in Bangalore, india's tech city.

As mentioned only 2 areas of BAngalore caused a problem, and those are the low lying areas. The ones to stir the hornets nest are the muslims, reason being there was a procession held on Friday, by the Muslims as condolonces to Ex-Iraqi president SAddam Hussain.

My point is damn, why do cry over spilt milk he is dead and we still create problems believe me all those who took part were 100% unemployed and 100% illetrate.

Well, this created havoc on Friday with 50 injured and Muslims blamed for the entire riots happened on Friday, though the insiders amongst the Muslims say that around that time the Meeting had started so all the muslims were present in the meeting, the point is the hindus have planned for such riots and blame it on Muslims and I call it BS(who the hell asked them to waste money and start with the meeting and instead talk about how can we progress).

On, sunday, unfortunately I was amongst one of them stuck in the vicinity of the area which obliterated more properties in the city. Well, this time the procession was carried out by Virat Hindus Sabha(Procession against christian missionaries) and kids as flagbearers as I have seen it live and amidst procession some anti-social elements created havoc.

There is no reason,why we shoudnt ponder over this entire issue as planned by both the parties and again some 3rd person taking advantage of this. I personally feel all this procession is just an entire waste of money and manpower.

Later in the night around 10.30 i managed to budge out of my aunt's place, and threaded the path were the actual riots took place. 2 lorrys, 1car destroyed with shattered glass all over and 2 burnt auto rickshaws.

The tech side of the city is oblivious of this fact, and the day has resumed as usual now.

I couldnt find 2, just after 2 hours of this riots and the entire area was blacked out. I dont blame anyone but the cops are protecting Shopping malls of the city instead.

I fail to understand if there is no concept of peace anywhere nearby Muslim communities.
Saddam is hanged and they would burn some local transport at some remote south Indian roads…as if the executers of Saddam reached Iraq prison by bus via Indian cities.

Police kill boy, night curfew in Bangalore

A 12-year-old boy was killed and 22 people were injured when police opened fire in Bangalore on Sunday to control a rampaging mob that was apparently provoked by a group of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s supporters.

Police said the violence was sparked off when a banner relating to a Hindu religious gathering was allegedly removed by a group of people who were on their way to attend a rally to condemn the Saddam execution.

^ seems like they had to vandalise anyway (could be frustration due to other issues or a related one), got Saddam's execution as an excuse, I didn't see such "demonstrations" other parts of world or may be I went into hibernation without knowing.

what i have heard is the muslims during the protest of saddam husein execution had removed the posters and banner of Viraat hindu samajostav and also attacked a church in murphy town
here hindus and christians are together against muslims
the area of this city has sizeble , hindu , muslim and christian population

I don't understand these muslims in Bangalore. How many of them could find Iraq on a Map ?

They seem to be led by a bunch of guys with their own agenda which seems to be much more than Saddam.

Last April scores of people were killed in violent disturbances following the death of an actor - Rajkumar.

The main culprits are Jaffer Sharief, Mallikarjun Kharge, C.M.Ibrahim, Bangarappa and Dharam singh. They are all congress leaders (except Bangarappa from SP). The city municipal corporation elections are around the corner and suddenly these guys woke up and held a condolence meeting for Saddam hussain (nearly 3 weeks after his death) and created trouble for the public. Most of the crowd that attended the rally came for food and other handouts and Friday was chosen as many muslims congregate for the Friday prayers. When you have big foolish crowd and cunning leaders, this is what happens.

I had been to shivajinagar, MG Road and Ulsoor today and it seems everything is quite normal.
