You have to keep in mind that Indian Media have to cater to the taste of 1 billion people in the land where where cheap movies make millions. Sad thing is that lately Pakistani media is also trying to mimic Indian media.

She is definitely not white. But you may be right it can be "char din ki chandini" as foreigm ministry is still controlled by the military. I don't see much of a change in the relation.
