There is a way that you have to treat these RSS monkeys and that is spank them hard. No need for continuous shelling but use big guns and take out couple of their monkeys in their bunkers. Phir phattay gee dimag sahih hoga.

This is also thanks to BJP that Pakistan went nuclear. Radical right wingers, no matter where, put buffoons to shame !
India will try to avoid crossing any red lines. Their biggest advantage is their navy. However, their navy may need time to create a blockade which may not be all that easy. Then on top of that, they need to maintain it long enough to have an effect, which is not assured as Pakistan has Gawadar and also may have links through China. The blockade would need to be protracted and that in effect would mean a longer war then anyone would like to see and so that is unlikely. Ground and air forces need time to assemble, and even so, Pakistan is defending its border, which may be easier then the offensive. So a war although unlikely, I think may not necessarily go nuclear, but may likely end without a decisive victory for either. This I got from a recent article I read. It makes sense to me, as there are numerous variables and unforeseen consequences that India's numerical and possible qualitative advantages may become null. India you recall hasnt been in a real war since limited engagement in Kargil.
In the end its rather pointless endeavor. The current Indian govt may be stupid enough to think they have an advantage they can leverage through open aggression, but i think they may be in for a surprise if they ever try it. I seriously doubt they would want to risk their economy on some idiotic effort to suppress an enemy that in reality isnt even a threat (except in their minds).

Thats correct. I dont think Modi would want to jeopardize the economic development plank by getting involved in border tension with Pak. However, one of BJP's poll agendas was strong defense and appropriate response to border incursions (whether state or non-state actors). The current issue is just a manifestation of that.

The Indians must be well aware of the "red-lines" they cant cross... I wish the rest of us knew where that line is. Kill Pakistani soldiers and innocent villagers! Perfectly acceptable!

I wouldnt go there, since thats exactly what India has been blaming Pakistan for doing everytime. This blame game is endless and only those at the border know what exactly happened.
