@Med911 Bro,you are vocal about your government and your army and the same is with me.We both do not know the truth.In Indian media,they would say 4 Pak rangers killed,In Pak media they would say 8 Indians.This saga will go on.There is going to be no immediate solution for this.
As far as you and me are concerned,we rely on what the medias say.We both do not have sources to verify what exactly has happened.There is no point in discussing this further.
All I hope for is ,peace.As I said before,you and me can write many things but it is the lives of people of both the sides on the border,civilians and soldiers alike,are the victims.

Your the one defending your sides claim... Its not us trying to peddle the belief that Indian BSF were simple "defending" themselves. Paksitanis are no angels, im the first to acknowledge that, but like I said, the LOC was quiet until this right wing BJP govt came to power... Seems suspicious to me. Surprised you dont think so.
If you can provide anything that would justify your vigorous defense of Indias claim, I would love to hear it. All I get from you and your compatriot is "we say its this way because our govt says it is, and you should accept that as fact..." Well no, we dont see any reason to assume anything other then the exact opposite.

It might be a proverb and I don’t doubt that Captain1 was not being offensive. However, i have heard it being in Pakistani TV to generalise a Hindu mentality in ways that may be seen as discriminatory. Not all Hindus are Indian and not all Indians are Hindus is something the anchor forgot. If a proverb is mostly used for one community it can be misused. I think it has been used historically for pandit types who say one thing and mean another but not for the common person. That's why I found it extremely ridiculous when an Indian troll here was going all Ha Ha Ha look Indian side killed Pakistani soldiers on Thursday's flag meeting, and Pakistani side didn't even retaliate - yay, we won. The following day, Indian media is all tears reporting how there is heavy mortal shelling from Pakistan side which has killed their soldiers and forced the residents to migrate. I don't know what crap BJP and RSS goons are feeding their public, but you don't pick up mindless fights and fool yourself with an idea of starting a one way war with a rival who is just as capable as you.
Stop treating this firing as child's play and some sort of score settling exercise. Pakistan is not Bangladesh where Indians easily 'clear' the border claim violent supremacy. All these madness is distracting army from fully focusing on the Western borders. BJP needs to find a new hobby.

Both sides need to stop this madness/senseless violence as it is affecting civilians. Hopefully it will end. Trolls on either side need to focus on the bigger picture. There are bigger more pressing issues to face in the region. Media on both sides needs to calm down and stop panicking people or pushing for retaliation for trps. It’s not like it is impossible for soldiers on the border to get along. Southie has started a nice thread on cross border firing. Personally not interested in pointing fingers.
I came across this thread but I think i’m going to bow out of this conversation. It just gives me too much tension and stress & I already have enough of that. Once before I was told by a member not to make threads on Pakistan affairs so i’m just going to leave it there.

India Pakistan Clashes have increased ever since BJP led government, came into Power. It is upto BJP guys, Whether they want 2015 to be a good year or a bad year, i guess.

Same here, cross Boarder firing gives me tention, too… There is only one solution and that is, both countries should sit across dialogue table, and resolve their issues/differences.

Reminds me of 1998 when (lets say indian santa claus and his minions) were jumping up and down after nuclear test which pretty much forced Pakistan's hand leading to neutralizing any indian military superiority in a war.

How will you evacuate everyone from the populous areas in Punjab? India might bring in long range bofor guns next time..

Its easier said than donw. This is not the old GOI, and they will not stop at just issuing a warning to the Pak high commissioner. The response will be fast and massive. Not sure either of our countries wants war.
