With good umpires like Bucknor making such wrong mistakes, I think its about time LBW's, Caught Behinds, etc should be referred to the 3rd Umpire. It only makes sense and this way no team could complain about wrong decisions of the umpiring after losing the game.

Right. But the noteworthy point is that Bucknor made the same mistake THRICE (and within a few hours)

Plumb LBW decisions such as these don't required a 3rd ump or technology. Bucknor needs new glasses or someone check his mobile and bank records.

I considered Bucknor as a good Umpire but he has been amazingly incompetent in this series.

only good in Buckner's bad umpiring is that he is quite consistant with his mistake. Remember how he gave ponting out in the first inning? He is still better than "biased" umpires :)

Yep..But it has been a great series.Commentators are saying

But I failed to understand why was Irfan taken out of attack and never brought back when he was bowling so beautifully and got Ricky out.

Dont want to sound bitter now...but had Bucknor given those LBWs early on , the Aussie innings might have followed a different script.
