India in Australia!

Or maybe they should not worry about winning and just stand tall in front of the wickets.
[/QUOTE]

They should just stand and not get out till half an hour before tea tomorrow, period. That would mean a lead of 150-200 which is defendable. India cannot win this one, it can only look to draw.

woooopsssssy number 2 of the day, :smack: big wicket, this is how:

  • 56.6 MacGill to Laxman, OUT: reaching forward defending off the edge comfortably taken by slip above ankle height to his right

India 160/4, Partnership of 34 VVS Laxman c Hayden b MacGill 18 (50b 3x4 0x6) *

"Mr.Dravid Hope Wall" is gone for 92! Again a good inning by Dravid but he ran out of partners.

India is 5 down for 253.

At the moment India has a lead of 61 runs with Ganguly (who is playing good at the moment) at one end and tail at other.

latest score

258/6 gulli' gone now the tail is exposed, a lead of 66 @ the mo', which won't be enough probs' :(

latest score

india - 277/8 after gulli' monkey ears aka agit sent packing, @ the mo' india lead by 85

latest score bad news i'm afraid

india - 277 / 9 thanks to brad, this is how india lost anil and zaheer>>

90.6 Williams to Kumble, OUT: walking across then trying to push back upthe wicket playing the wrong line and struck on the pad

94.3 Williams to Khan, OUT: pushing away from his body and a thick edgegoes to third slip

OMG,, I read it jsut now somewhere that Zaheer is out of ODI series.. Miseries adding to the Indian side...

India lead by 92 runs with 1 wicket remaining,, match already gone from India's reach.

sigh

So ok, how bad can it be? It's 1-1 now, and everything to play for at Sydney. May the best team win. India will be hampered by a lack of bowlers Mr- permanent- Kumble, Irfan, Agarkar, Nehra are the natural choices. Dare I hope for Karthik instead of Nehra? Sydney is after all a spinners paradise.

FB, Some1 and all other sad Indians - my commiserations. It was poor batting by the whole lot after a magnificent start on day 1. All we needed was for them to stay for one more session, not cavalierism. No substitute for hard work I tells ya.

latest score

india r allout in the last over of the day, their 2nd innings total was 286 last man out was hasish sorry ehmmmm ashish like so>>>

99.5 MacGill to Nehra, OUT: pushes forward thick edge goes safely to slip. india lead the aussies by 94 runs @ stumps day - 4

:flower1: @ stumps day - 4 scorecard :flower1:](http://uk.cricinfo.com/db/NEW/LIVE/frames/IND_AUS_T3_26-30DEC2003.html)

**australia require 95 runs to win the 3rd test with a full day’s play remaining and to level the 4 match test series@ 1-1!!! **

Cheer Up girl... Still Sydney is left.. and as you know its a Spinners paradise... and India are far better than Australia in spinning depat.. they can include murali kartihik for some show.. after al he was flown into australia on special instruction of Ganguly....

Cheer up all the Indian Supporters. I am with you guys in all the grief..

India's GREAT tailenders do it again :
Ajit Agarkar (1), Anil Kumble (0), Zaheer Khan (1) and Ashish Nehra (0)

... I would forgive them if they were great bowlers, but they aren't even that !

:hehe:

ps: dont worry pak is having same problems :bummer:

I wouldn’t mind their pathetic batting if our tailenders were bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar or even Sami, what pisses me off is that these guys are not even great bowlers. So they basically can’t bowl and can’t bat !!

The worse news is that Agarkar/Kumble both have 5 wicket hauls under their belt so they are going to be around for a while may be even for the Pak tour.

Oh CB you are such a doll! YOu’re right, we must cheer up. I mean it could have been worse than 1-1 right now. :flower1:

Nancy, what are you cribbing about, Pakistan will win the match tomorrow for sure. More then makes up for the lousy kenstar showing, right?

Why is the Indian media talking about rain tomorrow? Forecast is all clear, and besides let those overpaid stars pay for their mistakes! Let the selectors go red in the face when Zaheer doesn’t bowl and Kumble gives away 60 in 6 then takes one wicket. :hoonh:

Very inept batting by India. I just read a statement by Dravid saying that they have not given up hope and might turn the tables on the Aussies. Some hope.

India will need to regroup very quickly and go into the last test in a positive frame of mind. Tndulkar's 44 must have helped retore his confidence and he might be back with a bang in the next match. Overall as Some1 says India needs to find some good bowlers. As far as Agarkar and Kumble is concerned you are suffering from the same problem we did with Afridi. Just when he was about to be dropped he went and hit a 50 or 60 and then played the next 10 matches on the strength of it.

they'll win surely but the problem will remain about the tail enders. and abt the kenstar tournament, pak A have to make up for their mistake not the senior team

Please bring the same bowling battery to Pakistan in March. We love playing Zaheer and Kumble. Specially Kumble a la Jayaprakash. :hehe:

:nono3: why do you have to make fun of someone’s body? can’t you just give the status of the game instead?

May be he is talking about the series "turning table", this match is history.
