people! don't grudge a few words from Musharaf. He needs the money to pay for the farm house and the London digs. after all he was the leader of Pakistan's military (which includes the ISI) as well as the leader of all Pakistani people as their dear general and subsequently president.
There is a still a large crowd that revers him for his ability to 'talk' to the press.
PS: it is a well kept secret that a number of pay offs are shielded and covered as speaking fees. But that is beyond the remit of peopel discussing here I guess. So yes, let's just say he is giving management lessons to the global corporations.

This is nothing more than Musharraf saying what dumb Pakistanis through conspiracy nonsense believe that somehow Pakistan cannot be to blame for creating this Taliban menace and thus blame India, Jews and Israel, Zionist and America for creating this menace.

Religious extremist organizations collect a lot of money; plus my suspicion is that since Pakistan government agencies have been supporting these guys under different names till recently and perhaps even now, a lot of money has been paid that has accumulated.In additiona there may also be funds diverted from middle east
