Finally the hard efforts pay-off.Despite the loss of lives of it’s nationals ,India has successfully completed the work of Zaranj-Delaram highway and it wil connect India with Central Asia.
During the construction of this highway only,Mr.Maniappan, who was a driver with B.R.D.O(Border Road Develeopment Organization) hailing from my state Kerala was abducted by Taliban and was beheaded.Another guy murdered was Mr.Suriyanaraya,an engiineer from Hyderabad.I am sure this news will give their souls comfort.
Let this road be a monumental in fight against terrorism.
AAtishbaazi ka kaam to pakistan ko outsource kiya hua hai humne. :) on serious note now the project is finished india govt must recall all its personnel in afganistan including ITBP and BRO.
India don't have its own hiways but its building one for Afghans.... wah wah ! mukarar irshad mukarar irshad... what logic for self comfort.
thats the greatness of india "it put others before itself" :) it seeks to reconstruct neighbour not destruct it as pak do

Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!
Airlifting stuff? You nuts. India's oil import bill is so high your industries are having trouble. But you have fuel to fly cargo planes in and out of Kabul. Ignore the sheer stupidity of the statement, who is going to give your planes the right to fly over Pakistani air space.
Frankly I think this a great idea. We should link this road with the ones in Pakistan and send all the material to Karachi - which be used as a EPZ.
How Delhi-Kabul flight operates my dear friend?Like that India can operate Cargo planes.
You said…India’s oil import bill is so high.
So what?Should India sit simply for that?Should not India have to do what’s expected from it?Cite us one country that’s devoid of this trouble other than Oil exporting countries.
You said…India’s industries are in trouble.
It's called pure nonsense.Show us one industry that's in trouble because of this.I think you were trying to show how badly India has been hit by the current world economic plunge, but my friend for your information, not a bit Indian industries have been affected by this.If that's the case almost all the nations would be suffering this case.(No need to consider the cases of some of our neighbours :p ).
As regards to your Pakistan airspace is concerned,my dear friend it becomes a `not to be used' situation only during a war time or in a situtation closer to that.Till that time India will use that space happily.Incase of any adverse situation it will find it's own ways . :hehe:
Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!
In my opinion India amd Afghanistan should construct a monument somewhere along this highway, that will represent and a be a symbol for Fight against terror. Why can't they name it after the legendary Ahmed Shah Masood? :)
Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!
Gesto. Commercial flights over Pakistan Airspace require the permission of the Pakistani government. That is why in 2006 when India and Pakistan were at odd terms, each country shut down their respective air spaces to the other's commercial airlines.
For Cargo planes you would require authorization, which the government will block.
Secondly look at any respected finance journal or newspaper. Companies all around the world are feeling a loss of profits and productivity due to this oil crisis. India is feeling it just as bad as everybody else, in some cases they are worse off than others. So when your own industries are reeling from the oil crisis you plan on air lifting cargo to India. Right. That makes as much sense as a Bush presidential address.
If you can't understand why using fuel for airlifting cargo - which can be better utilized in industrial development - is just a bloody stupid idea, I would request once you graduate from middle school, take some courses in economics.
I think I have asked you about highways.Kindly care to tell us where India does not have one like that?
We do not want lists or you need not burn your head much but pls tell us where India does not have?Name one pls......That's enough.
Genius instead of asking questions that do not make sense do some reading on the subject Indian highways constitute approximately 2% of the total road network of India for a nation of 1.2 billion with almost 50 percent traffic, that speaks volumes.
And instead of asking me you could easily google and get your answers ..LOL....
