India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!

India ne lagta hai aajkal common sense bhi outsource ki hoi hai.

Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!

I may not be good at economics and thanks alot I will definitely consider taking up a course in economics in addition to my M.B.A in Finance.

Meanwhile,I would like to correct you, your so called odd terms happened not in 2006 but back in 2002. :)

Would you pls show us in which industrial sector India is feeling worse?I think you do not have a proper idea in the current scenario.India has been just affected like any other country in the current fiscal scenario and it's strong economic base helps it move in a rather comfortable position.Once again India's stock market has come back and it is doing well, also Industries.

Not only in India, the airfuel rates have gone up but almost everywhere in the world and even in U.S the airline companies are feeling the heat.Ofcourse in a country where fuel production is not sufficient for it's domestic purposes ,the things may get a little bit more diffucult. But it does not mean that India can not refrain itself from keeping it's national interests. No matter wherever it is,at any time,India will do it.

I live in India and I do not see any hinderance to any sector in India because of this global economic plunge.

I think you are just trying to pile up the minute bits of your knowledge rather than analysing things from it's deserving angle. No offence though.......... :)

Dude,I need not rely on some exterior sources for this. This is a very big country
and you can't construct highways each and everywhere as you wish.

Now I am forced to ask you one simple question.Edited
Again just show me where India does not have a highway?

What is exterior source....or do you consider the source that only you like...LOL...You know as I said you are a true blue genius,,, 2% said it all I do not have to tell you the names of your dirt tracks its only 2%.....

here read it again, only 2% constitute your hiways or dirt tracks what ever you would like to call that.

Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!

If you want to give us something positive information, that are sensible precise and not abstract ,let's continue this discussion in this thread .Otherwise it's just a waste of time for both of us.Hope you will also agree with me ,my brother.

I simply do not want to mention about Pak roads and highways since it is out of topic in this thread.

Thanks alot. :)

Dear Sir, Do you comprehend simple logic? Any source (lets take Indian for your satisfaction) will give you detials about Indian highways…

You do not need to go around and list the names, you only need to know the coverage in term of percentage… Does it makes sense???..

Since you did not like the “exterior” source here is an Indian with same numbers..

Welcome to India in Business : Industry & Services
The roads carry about 65 percent of freight and 86.7 per cent of passenger traffic. ** Although National Highways constitute only about 2 percent of road network it carries 40 percent of the total road traffic. **

Boss, this is the thing you are missing.........from your own link itself..........

(The roads carry about 65 percent of freight and 86.7 per cent of passenger traffic. Although National Highways constitute only about 2 percent of road network it carries 40 percent of the total road traff)

Are you really failing to understand that this a very big country? and when you take statistics like above you need to take the size of the country, geographical features, the commercial choices of people and the economic preferences of various state governments.(Remember this a Central government system unlike your Pakistan's Provincial system).India has got many states and each state may be interdependent or dependent on other state, and in such a situation you need to rely on interstate roads rather than highways.Nowonder this will reduce the burden of highways and will disappear from the above statistical figures.

(For example,if I want to go to MANGALORE from my place BANGALORE(both are in the same state) I will depend on state road rather than highways (National)because timewise, geographically and economically that's only viable for me).

Moreover in states like NorthEast states, where nature's crests and troughs are more, you simply can't have highways. You may not even have good roads there because of many factors like in accessibility, adverse weather conditions etc.

Highways do good when you transport commodities or passengers from one state to another, for fast and easy access, but you can't have highways each and everywhere you like to build it.This is country that is densly populated and the government/s has/have to relocate people in such a case.Despite that we have got very high quality roads.

I would invite you to have a travel by our Bangalore Pune road . You will definitely likeit and might even come back and edit what all you have posted earlier.. ...........No personal offence ...... :)

(For ex:If I want to go to Mumbai from Bangalore,if no flight ticket is available ,then m,my choice is highway). :)

You seem to ignore ground realities and beat around the bush for obvious reason and that is serious comprehension....

When a big country like India only have 2 percent highways then that speaks tons of volumes...... forget how yopu are going to get from one mega slum to another, the rate at which you are progressing you won't need roads or highways you will use star trek transponders. :D So what part of the report is so hard to comprehend the 2 percent of highways part or 40 percent traffic on highway?

Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!

I am not saying that we do not need roads or highways. But pls go up and see what I have asked you.

Again you are missing the point.........

You really have serious problem with english and comprehension.... Ask some one to explain it to you from the above links the percentage of highway coverage in india..

Re: India completes Zaranj-Delaram highway in Afghanistan!!!

Can India build some highways for Pakistan also?

Yes sir.I may have a problem. But would you pls go up and see what you have tried to evade?

Thanks for the confession and that answers the latter part of your question...

We are ready.......... but again some people should not try to evade our questions and tell us that we have just 2%highways and 4% vehicles and 10% population :p
