Im amazed none of our newspapers have covered this news even after the 4th day today. Heard it once on a TV channel on 15th Sept. So can we safely say that even Pakistani media is influenced by indian lobby?

Why would they not publish news which exposes the ‘peace loving’ nation’s intention to throw its’ neighbour in severe water crisis?

Thats includes you too, as you didnt offer your 'opinion', all you did was 'bash and promote' your own interest, i.e. criticize others.

As for the topic at hand, theres nothing that can be done. Pakistan had already filed complains with the World Bank. You cant expect India to honor the indus water treaty forever. Had our Govt done something about this in the last 10 years or so instead of killing its own people, we wouldnt have faced this problem.

There is water shortage in India also. Farmers demanding water, cities and towns want more drinking water, industries want water....
India can release some water to pakistan or indian politicians will under pressure keep the water india........another reason why india will always keep kashmir.

First try to gather strength to at least condemn US attacks on Pak soil then dream of killing India.

Here is what we need to do now:

1) Resolve water crises by engaging in direct talk with India.

2) Defense pack with China, signed formal treaties with China that China will defend Pakistan from any future attack.

3) Use ex-president Musharraff as a defense adviser and government diplomat to reach out countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia and Indonesia to help out with Economy. Musharraff maybe unpopular in Pakistan but outside pakistan he is known as moderate with liberal, progressive leader, someone who fought against corruption and allowed democratic process to return to Pakistan .

4) Build a massive border fence on Pakistan/Afghanistan border. Block Taliban and Drug dealer to cross into Pakistan.

5) strategic partnership with China, Russia and Iran.

6) More smaller provinces, FATA and Balochistan should be broken into smaller provinces.

7) Deal with Tribal leader to open school, and change madaris curriculum and use more modern curriculum which will teach children math and science also.

8) More school and college/universites in tribal/FATA/Blochistan areas.

Now it's the time to get closer to Russia while the west is after them. I think General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani should visit Russia after visiting big brother China.
Pakistan need to use both China and Russia to pressure India to resolve water crises and resolve 60 years old Kashmir dispute.
