Why do you say that? The news item suggest something different.

Former MNA and central leader of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Muhammad Qasim was leading the funeral prayers but survived the attack.

I had already predicted this before elections. ‘maut ke saudagar’ are only interested taking innocent lives. They damn care about Fazlu or IK or PTIans. This is high time that IK should revisit his thinking about supporting them.

^ PTI is not under attack, its Pakistan under attack.
firstly both of the MPAs got killed were not basically part of PTI, they got elected independent and later joined PTI to let them form the govt. If Nawaz had accepted Maulana’s offer to make collation govt in KP, they could have joined PMLN or JUI. First MPA was ASWJ, and this guy was ANP.

2ndly, this attack was supposedly on the JUI leader who was leading the funeral prayer, this MPA happened to be there and was among martyrs

lets not do the politics of “dead bodies” and start counting “shaheeds” in every political party’s bag, innocent people died, its very sad, and must be stopped. one should not use it for their political point scoring and later showing this as an excuse for not being able to do something.

I agree with this notion. Whole of Pakistan is under attack. Not just in KP, in karachi too. Not just from taliban but militants from political parties too. I wish Army would allow deweaponisation drive for whole country. would be a good conducive practice.
