i was watching this drama on star pluus the other day, called sangam, and what a load of rubbish that was... and kyinki saas bhi whatever, how many times did tulsi die? and how may times did mihir die? omg!!!

I dont agree that India dramas (soaps) are better. Some of them are downright pathetic. However, what I know of Pak dramas is from classics like Dhoop Kinare, Ankahee, Khwaja & Son, Tanhaiyaan etc so I can't comment on the current lot.

Indian movie making might be better then Pakistan , but drama scene totally belongs to Pakistan ... India is far from creating drama's at the same level as Pakistan .... the storylines and the realism is much more in the our drama's .. while in indian drama's ( majority ) there is no realism what so ever .. no story line ... and simply no reality check !

I hate those dramas! my mom watches it all the time and all you see is cameras zooming in and out to the faces of about 5-6 people for a good 5 minutes. SHOOT ME.

the entire premises of soap opera based on emotions. indians spice them up with saris and heavy make up.
but it lacks the basic ingredient of any drama and that is to show "what bad happens to the bad guy when they evoke evil"?
....cuz by the time they end the drama (which means after 3-4 years), audience moved to some bukwas.
indeed bukwas is always attractive!

I hate dramas..........thats all.
I was visiting my sis and she had some drama on (Choti Bahu I think) and I swear...all they do is cry and then stare at the screen with their eyes WIDE open like someone just shot them.

DID ANYONE WATCH THE ULTA SEEDHA EPISODE WHERE THEY MAKE FUN OF INDIAN SOAPS? THIS GIRL PICKS UP A CUP OF TEA AND THEY ZOOM IN AND OUT 6 TIMES, AND THEN SHE PUTS IT DOWN IT HAPPENS AGAIN. AT THE END SHE MAKES AN INDIAN POSE AND HER NAMES IS PILAVARTHI OR SOMETHING. IT WAS HILARIOUS!
