Indian dramas cater to housewives mainly, and they like the Saas Bahu variety :) There are some good dramas on Indian channels, but they are not talked about as much since the Saas Bahu ones are a lot more popular.

Nahee hum aor khaas tor per mai aesa nahee maanta. Pakistani Dramas are better and most famous in Pakistan as well as India. More then half of Indian population watch Pakistani dramaz and prefer to watch it over Indian dramas.

murd kahn rehty hain drama main
chalak aorat bad makeup specially to much black in eyes sometime look so stupid

one more thing without any reason pooja pat fazoool dramas

or koi kam nahin aorat ko sirf pooja pat or fazool plans

indian drama main kiun baghair shadi kah pregnent bacha dikhaty hain

There was a time when Pakistani dramas were much, much better than Indian dramas. They were in a different league altogether. With movies it was the other way around and it still is.

But unfortunately the quality of Pakistani dramas has deteriorated a lot in the recent past, because they are becoming more and more like the Indian ones. Pathetic. Pakistani dramas too have those zoom-in zoom-out sequences repeating 20 times now and are stretched over hundreds of episodes.

I think the only dramas still worth watching (again) are the old ones from the 80s and early 90s, if you can get hold of them on DVD.
