Amjad Bobby was an exceptional musician. Its unfortunate his talents were always under-utilized by the Lahore industry. I believe his best soundtracks are that of Sangam, Ghoongat and Chief Saab. **Incidentally all of these films came during the mid 90s revival period when he was going through his best spell.

His tracks for Inteha *(1999) and *Karz *(dir: Usman Peerzada, 1997) were really good too. I loved the *Ek Pal Ki Khushi number from Karz in particular. Infact I can't think of a film where he composed a mediocre soundtrack.
The tracks from Syed Noor's Deewarein (1997) were spectacular as well.

mr.amjad bobby was a legendary music director "no doubt"....
i ve heard few songs of his son "FAISAL BOBBY" [UPCOMING STAR]....I REALLY I LIKE HIS VOICE ..

Okay to be honest guys his last 2 projects yeh dil aap ka huwa and khuley aasman were a total disappointment...it was imitation of 80's bollywood stuff. In comparison to really nice songs from a film like 'mohabbatan sachiyan' they were not good.

if u really like to be honest the u must no tht mohabattan sachiyan is also copied from indian music.....may be u feel khuley asmaan ke neechey n yeh dil apka hua has similarities to indian songs becoz they ve been composed there.,otheriwse i dnt think it is a imitation of 80's bollywood stuff.............no doubt mr.wajahat has compsed very melodious songs either but only in punjabi films not in urdu films hez not all rounder sorry to say .....
but u cant compare his work wid our legendary composers like amjad bobby and sohail rana who really made us proud wid their compositions........

Hold on are u somehow stating that mr. wajahat attre is somehow below amjad bobby? amjad bobby has composed some gud songs but his last 2 projects didnt match up with all that 'larki mumbai ki larka...blah di blah" in KAKN.
Attre has been composing for a very long time....both composers were great at their jobs. and im not comparing punjabi or urdu projects because im referring to compositions!

im not stating tht mr.wajahat attre is below read ur first comment u were comparing both composers im not.........n for ur more info "ladki mumbai ki ladka karachi wala" the new version of this song is not composed by mr.amjad bobby becoz he gt died ,,n at the end javed sheikh wanted to change this song according to modern beats so he hired some indian upcoming composer to compose dis song again...
inshort u ve ur own point of view,i simply love the title track n "aa mujko mukammal kerde" n its also beautifully shot.....

i totally agreed with ms.torui.
i like yeh dil apka hua's song very much according to my point of view i think the usp of javed sheikh's movies are music .uski filmo mein sif music aur locations hi hoti hain ya fir sana hoti hai ahahha.
but apart from that i seriously think mr.amjad bobby is one of the legendary personality of our industry.
