My whole point is that while it’s the media’s responsibility to keep their content family friendly, ultimately it’s the parents responsibility to monitor and safeguard their children’s well being. I shouldn’t need to tell other parents how to cultivate pakistani culture/ langue in kids while keeping it PG. That’s something for each parent to decide and also be prepared for the “side effects”.
In fact Tv is probably the last thing I am worried about as it’s a fairly controlled medium. What scares me is the uncontrolled medium provided by the internet which parents don’t even bother monitoring even though there are hundreds of cheap and even free programs that provide parental controls (amongst other safety mechanisms). So anyways, my point is that ultimately parents are most responsible for their kids and shouldn’t play blame games when their kids get exposed to inappropriate content and rather should try to minimize the probability of it happening
