Increasing vulgarity in pak dramas

I understand where you are coming from but you cannot control what is on tv. What you can control is what your kids can and cannot view.

Even in America, on network television you will have people making out but not too much nudity. But you switch over to HBO or Showtime and people are prancing around butt-naked.

Also, when you are watching a series and start liking it, the main reason is because you like the storyline and the actors are doing a good enough job on screen to make you believe whatever is happening. The couple on screen are playing husband and wife. So, husband and wife do touch each other I believe, and that is whats happening in this scene. Now if you already know that almost all of Shamoon’s shows include some sort of “vulgar” scene, then why watch it?

I agree that subtelty on screen, especially in Pakistani dramas works because we are a conservative society and we’d rather not discuss or see what happens in the bedroom. Our media is only been truly free for the last ten years and they have experimented a lot with this freedom. If we let this experimentation continue, I think soon the media and the audience will find the right balance.

Yes that is absolutely true that he couple in the show is married . And
As per that marriage license they will probably do the stuff that is shown. However there are clever ways that directors show these seen. Before they get too steamy the lights are turned off. there are plenty of places where these scenes could have been inserted in Humsafar but they elwere not. Even without we loved the romance. Folks do we prance around naked in front of spouses? A little sharm and haya go a long way. Too much of anything and it loses it charm. I think men here have gotten sick of seeing half naked women everywhere. U use those women whose dressing leaves very little to the imagination. Are these women really attractive? I Absolutely detest PUblic display of affection ( PDA). these things should remain in the privacy of the bedroom. Couples don’t really need I shove it down everyone’s throat. another reason that Asher has come around is because Khirad doesn’t fall over all over Asher. She maintains her distance and behaves with decency.
