I was just wondering…and this boggles my mind everytime i think about it. I didnt know where to post this …
If adam and eve were the first humans on this planet and we are all their offspring…two of their kids had to have committed incest in order to have more kids…
Christians are experts on the subject since they are obsessed with it and it is mentioned in Bible no less then 6 time....Ask them, they'd be able to help you out better....
if you are using one then here is what I’ve learnt about it: God had permitted that in early time (perhaps the concept of “brother” and “sister” hadn’t developed then).
well according to what you just said, the concept of brother and sis is not valid today either. God’s rules shouldnt change just because there are too many people in this world now and god goes ‘ok from now on no more sex b/w two people from the same parent’
kewn bhai? Its God’s will to change His rule or not. If He were to keep “same” rules for all societies/nations, why would we have so many versions of His religion i.e. Judaism, Christianity, Islam (and others).
It is … but you are talking about the religions YOU know, do you know the religion/version that was given to nation of Adam AH? his next following prophet(s)? the only “basis” you might have a guess is that they all preached Unity of God.
You may call it my own concoction (word?), theory etc as I don’t have the reference at hand… even the reference might have been a scholarly debate/article, not likely a Quranic (or other God’s words) or Hadhith. But it is logical… take Islam for example, it was permissible in earlier days to be drinking/drunk (alcohol) but not when praying, drinking (acloholic) was later on prohibited completely… so you see how God “evolved” the law according to the situation?
not really, after azaab on Hazrat Noah AH’s nation, we aren’t all “product of incest”, but yeah “ultimately” when you “scroll” all the way upto Hazrat Adam AH…
the “fight” is not about brotherly/sisterly issues, its more of a fight of “principles”. Have you not seen differences among immediate families (siblings, parent/siblings etc.)? one kills other immediate relative etc.?? So the “fight” is not effected by your “relationship” with the other.
also there was one more theory which is not clear in my memory, according to which God had created partners for Adam AH's children .... Allah swt knows the reality.
I was reading a book long, long time ago and also in Kisas ul Ambia. It says that Hzt Adam always had twins. They had 120 pairs a total of 240 children in all. 120 men and 120 women. The rule Allah ordained at that time was that Abil who was the first son could not marrry his sister and Kabil could not marry his sister (sister- meaning born with them) . So the rule Allah ordained was that ABIL would marry Kabil's sister and Kabil would marry Abil's sister. BUT KABIL wanted to marry his sister. So he Kills ABil but thats another story... but to make it short, during that time a pair born together could not marry each other ...
