Nope they are taken out of context
These people are people of the book and as such deserve our respect.
This was customary when Jews and Christians along side Muslims in Palestine during the 10th and 11th Century and fought and died together fighting the Crusaders.
Its just that with current issues (israel-palestine) that things are that are metaphors are taken out of context from the Quran and racist demogoging towards the Jewish people is at a fruition.

Israel reacted strongly against the illgeal militia that provoked them. But I am not brainwashed about he value of Arab/Muslim blood. It seems perhaps Hezbolla thought so by provoking a conflict with Israel while hiding amongst the Lebanese.

Check your facts. The Israelis are pulling out from occupied territories. It is the elected terrorist government of Palestine that refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist.

I'm talking about the TalISIban, Hamas, the cleric's issuing fatwas from SA and Pakistan, etc. But we can pretend that doesn't happen and that all Muslims are part of the perfect religion while it is only the Jews and Christians that preach hatred and violence.

guys, please stop fighting in ur debate over ur opinions.
the article said that Muslims in uk did not participate in the holocaust commemoration and that is not appreciable.
we all have our affinities with our back grounds, but the prime back ground is of being a good human being, and our religion, Islam, teaches us that we need to be fair to all.
instead of hatred, we need another way, albeit harder way, of distending from malice and grudges, and then we need to also get our grievances acknowledged and effectively take care of the agents who bring upon Muslims. the atrocities due to which some of us, have become disappointed and feel that the only way is hatred and no good relations with people from other faiths and harboring different interests than those which are beneficial for us. we all need to do our part in making coexistence possible. the fight between good and bad will be ever happening, we need to gather good from all sides, together, to fight the bad from all sides.
maybe this is a simple solution. but, has anyone tried to try it? No.
whenever islamic revolutions came about, the rulers dealt kindly with the non Muslims, and that patient and genuine regard for all humanity is what i am calling everyone's attention to.
does this make sense?

I dont know about the US but in the UK, bar some high up figures like the PM, the holocaust memorial thing is not a big thing. No one really gives a fig over here. yeah they'll be a TV broadcast of the live ceremony, but its too boring and solemn to watch. Other documentaries about hitler and the war are slightly more interesting, if not morbid to watch.

We cannot remain silent spectators. We are being demonised and it is being acceptable to attack muslims.
We must learn lessons from the holocaust and ensure that it does not happen again. It implies us becoming more active and organised in fighting against this trend. If we remain silent then we are heading towards a slippery slope into a disaster. This is the time to act...not 15 years from now.
