In the midst of severe power crisis, govt unwilling to buy cheap elec from Iran

Noopsi.

You said Pakistan should buy an item X. But you are unwilling to tell us what is the startup cost of that item X.

Instead you want to throw jokes and personal attacks. This is hardly a good image of the so-called "Pro-iranian supporter".

Re: In the midst of severe power crisis, govt unwilling to buy cheap elec from Iran

based on all news items available.

But why should I care about the nitty gritty details? I don’t see a single person saying this is not feasible.
If you are skeptical about the costs then show some study.

Here is the Minister approving the project:

“We have entered into a deal with Iran for supply of 1000 MW of electricity and feasibility is being prepared to lay down a new transmission line for another 400 MW,” he told newsmen.

So now if you have doubts then go cry foul in front of Raja ji or Imam Sahab.

Oh. So anyone calling for buying cheap electricity for PAKISTANI PEOPLE, when they are DYING for electricity is being PRO-IRANIAN?

Actually, what you are showing here is extreme Amreeki sehooniat that is filled in your brain.

And what personal attacks?

Guys, let’s ignore this sehooni here for a while. I saw this report from Associated Press.
It is saying that this project will take 5 years to complete. So let’s wait and hope for the best for our people. We need to make sure that government(s) leave no stone unturned to solve this grave problem the nation is facing today.

Associated Press Of Pakistan ( Pakistan’s Premier NEWS Agency ) - 1000 MW to be added to system next month: Raja Rervez Ashraf
He said NESPAK and an Iranian company was working on it, adding Iranian bank would fund the project. However, he said the project would be implemented in five years as it would need laying of 500 Kilometer transmission lines.
