Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I've heard that gel liners last long. Try mac

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I don't think i've come across pencil eyeliners that last. Liquid ones that Maybelline ultra liner waterproof and right now i'm using one but I can't recall the name. I'll edit this post as soon as i'm able to get to it. But they last the whole day long and I love.

Urban Decay does a brilliant long-lasting one

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I have the Bobbi brown gel liner. It stays put, but it's dry in texture. Is that how all gel liners are?

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

naw, tattoo. that's what people get nowadays, permanent make up lol.

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

^That creeps me out. Imagine waking up each morning to brush the morning breath away from your lipsticked mouth....and to rub the sleep and eye boogers out of your always lined eyes. It's like reliving the same day or wearing the same clothes daily.

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

It's to save time though... I would be more worried when they are old and going wtf I can't have that natural grandma look cuz of permanent make up.

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

What's so natural about a more youthful woman waking up to a fully made face each morning...with the same colors....no matter the season?

i think this is what they do… also some people add permanent blush though.

I just want to try the Eyelash extensions in Korea… even though my eyelashes are long >.>

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I wouldn't mind semi-permanent lip blush.. I tried the full lip colour a few years back but got fed up of the flaky dry stage of the healing process and ended up peeling off most of the colour.. a bit of a disaster really..

Kate Middleton has the tattooed eyeliner.. I don't think it suits her though..

"Normal" lash extensions here in the UK tend to feel plasticky.. had those as well and hated them, the way they fall out and end up sort of hanging there is a bit gross as well lol.. Mink lashes might be better..

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I don't think most women go for the full made-up look with semi-permanent makeup (like Joan Collins :D) and you could of course just use a diff colour on top..

I think the majority choose to have just eyebrows or light lips, that sort of thing, as if they have light makeup on.. I'm not a massive fan of it but I think it can look nice when done properly..

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

CB, is it dry in texture? Just wondering other gel liners are cuz the bobbi brown gel liner is dry. If Rimmel and Maybellinr are softer...i may look into them.

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

I like Nyx's powder liner...it's very dark and there's fall-out which many are not crazy about...but I like the look powder liners give as well.

Re: in search of eyeliner that lasts long

Yes Ne ne , its this one .. its awesome

RV, its not very dry .. in the sense that it is super easy to put on and it doesnt dry out instantly so it gives enough seconds to sort of shape up the liner the way you want , coz its real black and a little goes a long way .. I usually put a thin line of it and then spread it in shape with my own brush ..

when I say it doesnt dry out instantly, dont think it takes ages to dry , it a matter of a few seconds but even after then it doesnt spread but moves like a gel if you wanna shape it or spread it etc .. know what i mean? Its light enough and doesnt feel heavy on the eye through the day ..
