I dud a search on youtube and apparently gel liners do tend to dry out over time and when that happens, it's best to remove the cover and pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and they'll have the more wetter consistency they had in the beginning.

I heard if you add a tiny bit vaseline in them , they become ok again .. but frankly I have mine since over a year and I use it almost every day and still hasnt dried out, I am nearly 3/4th done with the container and its still going strong , no signs of drying up as yet

I generally use the kryolan aquacolour but dear God sometimes it's a mess especially when I'm not wearing an eye Primer.
I did end up buying urban decay liners and perversion does not budge on me. It's expensive so I only use it sparingly.

Bobbie brown gel liner definitely stays put. I wear it almost everyday, but the pot is half-way empty so the it starting to look a little dry, I am gonna chuck it the warm water to loosen it a bit.
Another one I really like is....Guerlain, but their black pencil isn't black enough of colour for me. MAC eye kohl pencil in 'smoulder' is my 2nd favourite it also stays put almost 8+ hours.
Urban decay pencil I find the tip too soft so it goes all over the lid.....Its not for me

Ok this sucks because I've used Urban Decay and Mac and Loreal and none of them work on me. They all start smudging and giving me the wet-panda look in just hours. Also, I line only my waterline all of the time....so I don't know if it's the products or my own eye/skin issues.
another pet peeve is that I can't seem to find a brown eyeliner that actually SHOWS. Every brown eyeliner looks invisible on me. :(

i highly recommend urban decay's 24/7 glide on pencil in perversion. i use it both in my waterline and as a eyeliner on my lid (using an angled brush). i have watery eyes and i wear contacts but it never smudges from my waterline and on the lid it is dark enough to look like liquid eyeliner. the pencil is very smooth and creamy but surprisingly it never smudges on me!

Revlon color stay eye liner. Its a twist up so no sharpening hassle. Lasts all day long. Love it.

I use Rimmel ka gel eyeliner and believe me , its good to go even for the next day , if you dont remove it over night! its that good !

That's my fav pencil eyeliner as well. It does the job for me.
